Seagrave

Divers who explore shipwrecks and sunken ruins sometimes report seeing strange lights, flickering in and out of view through murky waters.

Do Not Follow the Lights.

No one knows whether this kelpari is the vengeful spirit of some drowned soul, or perhaps a fey creature born of the deep. But it seems that, whatever he is, those who follow him are doomed to follow him forever.

~Vesper, Crepuscular Sentinel~

There is a place where the sun never quite rises. A place where the wind speaks as it hurries across the empty beaches, chasing sand along, laughing with a rattling giggle as crabs try to scuttle away from the terrifying, yet beautiful words whispered and woven into the laughter. A place where the stars move in intricate, rare dances, sometimes twirling so close, you can feel the heat. A place where the broken, glassy shards of abandoned shells reflect more than you ever wanted to see. A place where it seems as if you are the last one left, in such a vast, barren ocean of everlasting wave upon wave upon wave. A place where the clouds catch the eternally crepuscular colors of the Earth, decorating the dancing stars in their captured light. A place where there are no names to match the faces. The blank, staring faces with deep and mysterious eyes. A place where everybody is a nobody.

This place is not of this world. It is, but isnt. It exists inside the minds of the long forgotten, on some distant metaphysical plane of semi-conscious thought. Somewhere, on a small, fragile Earth, it does, but does not exist. It is a suspended, in brief second, perhaps less, in times book. But it lasts forever, for those who are trapped there. A second is forever. Much like our lives, which seem to stretch on forever for us, but in reality, are swift, fleeting moments.

This place, though lost and lonely, has a thing. A single, almost unimportant thing. In such a place where the past, present, and future are forgotten and blended, and where nothing matters anymore, this place has managed to maintain a single, insignificant thing. A guardian. A guardian born of the almost existent sun, and the softly uttered prayers of the trapped souls in the stars, who waits for the light to finally take the sky and change the night to day. By those lucky enough to catch his fading footprints in the wet sand, a glimpse of his tail disappearing into the whitecaps, or a clear, pure voice, singing of the sun, he is called Vesper- Vesper, the Crepuscular Sentinel.

Gadian
(Goldfish Keplari)

Traditionally, red and/or black koi were kept in the pools or ponds of wealthy chinese as a symbol of wealth. Silver were also added into this mix an an aesthetic add on. Over the years a genetic Mutation arose among the silver carp causing some of the fish to turn a yellow colour as the new gene took a dominant role. This new fish varity or "Gold Fish" were quickly banned among the common people by the Imperial state, Yellow being the Imperial colour. New variations arose with the more oranger red colour which were quickly bred and spread throughout the commoners.

Gadian came to be when a Hippocompus was captured during a trip to European region and introduced into one of these wealthy Asian gardens as yet another "Aesthetic" after being given to the Imperials as a "Gift". Over time, taking on the frills and colours of his fellow waterkin around him, the once sand coloured waterhorse begat the red colours of the local Koi, mimicing in some areas the commoner's colours of their precious "Gold Fish".

The only ones left were 'Murca, The Holy Potato, Big Brows, Made in China, Mr. Trench-coat, That Rose Dude, Bowl 'o Pasta, and Mr. Manga. There have long been rumors of a psychic being, known as Draconis, whose magic was unmatched by any other. It was said to be rather draconic in appearance, a creature equally of land and air. After sightings long, long ago, the beast seemingly disappeared for good. Many have searched for it, looking high and low, but all efforts have been in vain. It has since become a creature of myth, one that earned no more than scoffs. What no one knew is the beast was tired of constantly being sought out and all but forced to do things for people even if its skills were not necessary. It found the humans far too complacent by relying on it. Disgusted by this reliance, the creature had changed its form to one that would reside in the water, diving deep within the oceans where it would not be bothered again.

The creature would, however, come near the surface sometimes, curious despite itself. It was always cautious, however, or so it thought. One time, a lone adventurer, out giving their team some time to play within the surf, spotted the creature. The beast shone with such magical radiance that the adventurer knew exactly what it was but all they did was smirk softly. If the creature wanted to follow them home, surely it would.

This is Shooting Star. She always had an interest in the study of luminescence. She was also very gifted in it. Her talent was finally recognized when she perfected the formula for luminescent pearl armor. The leader of the kelpari saw she had talent and appointed her this special job: to place the stars in the night sky and make sure they glow brightly. Sometimes, as she pushes the stars into the sky, she leaves a trail, creating the appearance of a shooting star.
