The dragon looks at the dragon treat then back at you. it growls again and swishes it's tail. it begins to back away. Arctic looks to you for instructions

Okay! You are wandering around for a while and have had to use 2 of your water bottles. when suddenly you see it a pool of water. as you get closer you are glad to see that it's not a mirage but it's a real oasis. You set up your tent. but it's beginning to get dark already!

(Can I fill the water bottles up with water from the oasis? If so, then I will do that.)

I would now like to search for some rocks and branches to make a fire.

I ask Arctic to quietly follow the dragon, as to not lose it. I follow after Arctic and the dragon. On my way, I look for things around me I can use to befriend the dragon. (I looked, I never said I found anything, so I am not making my own story here)

Your water canteen can hold more water and yes you can fill them up there.
Thankfully there are some trees in the oasis you grab a couple, set up your tent and start a fire. you are sort of hungry though...

(Your doing fine!) As you follow Arctic you see a wounded Deer. perhaps the dragon would like to eat it?

I chow down on one of my sandwiches, preparing for a long day of dragon hunting tomorrow.

I make a note of what pattern the dragon is walking and in what direction. I then ask Arctic to kill the deer and help me carry it in the direction and position the dragon was moving.

okay. when you wake up you look around and see three ways you can go that aren't back to the dragon trader. The first is a field of cacti so close together it might hurt to walk by but who knows whats on the other side. the second is a sand dune fairly high. the third is more scorching hot fields of sand.
