Inspiration: The beautiful color changing leaves of fall! Although I don't actually see any where I live, I love the warm colors, and it works nicely with Leaf Veins and Crown of Leaves, and the Astral Wanderer's Shawl almost looks like a scaft (and is restricted, as an added bonus ;) )

Black Rose Ryori
Why Black Rose? I was inspired from a lot of things. Since the requirements for the ryori is that it is fall themed, I chose the Black Rose. In my country, autumn is a time of sorrow and loss, and many of our poets use the cold, windy autumn days to portray their sorrow for a loved one, or to lament their troubles. Fall in my nation represents something cold, something negative. So then there's the other thing: Halloween. Halloween is also during the fall, and while people like to dress up and trick or treat, Halloween also represents more darker things on the other side. The day of Halloween is also the day before All Hallow's Day, which is November the first. All Hallow's Day is when people go to respect their dead relatives/ancestors, and in my country it is also known as the Winter's First day, and that is when we burn paper money and other things to honor our ancestors. To summarize, autumn for me is a dreary time tinged with a little depression. Looking at the black rose, it symbolizes quite a lot of things. But all those things have one thing in common: they are negative things, sad things, angry things. It represents death, the darker half of the universe, mourning, evil, and revenge. The flower also happens to symbolize the darker half of our souls, our malicious primal selves. This flower, I thought, would be perfect for a fall themed ryori. The ryori also comes from a shadow realm, as Krin had said sometime in the history of Sylestia and it has wonderful traits and they are a beautiful species in general. Putting the meaning of fall, the symbolism of black roses, and a shadow realm ryori together created this beautiful girl: The Black Rose Ryori.

Where I live the stars aren't visible during the summer, so this is inspired by the darkening sky and appearance of stars during the fall.
