Correct - there is a small chance that parents with mutations will pass those mutations off to the offspring, or even a new mutation will spawn depending on what each of the parents have. Breeding is extremely situational that way.

For the most part you have a relaxing time, at least until Truffle decides to play tag with you. This proves difficult - Truffle is much faster in the water after all! Midway through the game something in the current smacks into Truffle. This gives you enough time to catch up and complete the game, even if it means you have to unravel them from whatever it is that smacked into Truffle.

You and Lucas go snorkeling!!
You both decide to play along a reef, careful not to disturb the wildlife while playing. Lucas swims through a school of fish once or twice, but nothing bigger than that. However, while you're both having fun Lucas turns a corner and slams into a small pile of trash that had gathered in the crook of some rocks. Saddened by the sight, you decide to clean it up and throw it out proper.
You and Lucas had a good time otherwise!
