*Woah woah woah, dont do that, you have a lot of dirt under your nails that will make it worse, I have some tools below deck* He tells you. *My name is Jek, Im a traveling doctor who works on this ship, Ill bring you to my quarters now to patch you up.* he tells you, leading you below deck into a fairly nice room, with several cots, sheets, and boxes likely filled with medical supplies.
*Sit down here* he instructs you, and you obey, sitting down, the Parrat moving into your lap, purring softly.
*Dont mind Cherry too much, shes just doing her job. Shes a support parrat, I trained her to identify and comfort injured or sick people, she lays around the neck of people who need medical attention, which is how I found you so easily* he explains, gently grabbing your injured arm and a clean, damp cloth. *Feel free to pet her, shes here to help patients get through painful procedures* he tells you.
He gingerly wipes down the cut, trying to be as gentle, at effective as possible. He then pulls out some tweezers, pulling the scabbed skin open quickly. *Youre doing great* he tells you. *So what brings you on board? What business are you attending to in Quyin?* he asks, taking some herbal ointment out of a nearby check and applying it to your opened wound after using another clean, wet cloth to clean it out a little.
He finishes by carefully wrapping a bandage on your arm, tight enough to seal the wound, but loose enough not to cut off circulation or cause discomfort. *Remember to change that frequently, come find me in here when you need new bandages* he instructs you

She hissed and winced throughout the procedure, touching the bandage gingerly afterwards. She mustn't cry, crying was bad. A sign of weakness make her an obvious target. She turned her weak smile towards Cherry, delicately patting her as if unsure of what to do, "She is very sweet" she said slowly, "Cherry. I have heard that somewhere" she asked slowly, trying to draw out the conversation as a distraction for her own good.
"My.. business on board.. in Quyin.." she was still speaking slowly, as if struggling to formulate a sentence in her head, she started moving her hands as she spoke, the hand gestures mimicked those her herd would use, as cold weather meant speaking as a bad idea so they had a sign language. "I come with my master.. we go to seek a answer he wishes to gain.."
She frowned as she looked at the wound, testing her arms movement, "Does it not need to be frozen?" she questioned, a if shocked.

"Frozen?" Jek asked. "I'm not sure what doctors you've been seeing for treatment, but wounds typically don't get frozen... or at least not where I'm from, maybe it's a cultural thing, but usually we just disinfect, clean, and apply a healing ointment to speed up the healing" Jek explained.
"Cherry is named after a kind of fruit I like, if that's what your thinking of" Jek tells you, putting his tweezers in a cup of water, putting his bandages away. Cherry perked up upon hearing her name, and upon sniffing the air, she darted out the door. "Well, that's my cue, someone else must be-" Jek was about to start heading out when a woman in a dark purple robe with lighter purple fur trim entered, Cherry was draped around her neck, making a shrill chirping/meowing cry.
"Hello, I take it you're the- oh! Leto... you're here!" Oriah said with a nervous laugh, her usual complex not present as she made sure her whole front was facing you. Jek, upon seeing her enter, took a step back.
"Mam, are you-" Jek's question was cut off as Oriah put her fan over his mouth.
"Don't worry, I just have a few minor scrapes that I want to get checked on" Oriah said with a smile, taking a step back away from the doorway. "Prince Oba is waiting for you on the deck" She tell you, motioning for you to leave for a reason you're unsure of. As she moved her hand, you noticed something metallic and shiny poking out from her robe.

She dipped her head to Lady Oriah, "Y-Yes Ma'am" she stuttered, "May I leave return to play with Cherry later?" she gave a hopefully glance before hopping up to the deck, running across the deck and as she approached Prince Oba, put her body weight on one leg and gave a hop forward, darting around him in a circle excitedly, trying to act energetic.
"Lady Oriah has a spear through her I think, I hope she gets better. I'm not sure though" she offered him a smile, "I-I'll go tend to the horses now, forgive me for bothering you. I don't mean to be so rude, i-it's just you were so kind to me earlier! your praise makes me really, really happy Prince Oba." she rambled on mindlessly
"There was a super cute animal in the medical room called Cherry! Can I have permission to play with her later if the doctor doesn't mind? I'll make sure everything's settled and well beforehand." she then shut up, realizing she'd been babbling on, looking guilty in her stance.

"Sure, it's no issue" Doctor Jek tells you, taking Oriah's hand and leading her to sit down in a chair as you exited the room.
As you rambled to prince Oba, he was obviously surprised to see how much you were rambling, and he chuckled as you finished speaking.
"You seem like you're in a really good mood, of course you can go play with the little animal 'Cherry' " He said with a fond smile. "You mustn't worry yourself about the horse, though, the stables have attendants to take care of the horse, you should stay on the deck, maybe you can find more of the Parrats to play with" Qillorik suggested with a small smile, which quickly faltered when he considered what you said.
"Hold on, did you say Lady Oriah was impaled by a spear?" Qillorik questioned, obviously concerned. "You aren't bothering me when you tell me important news, Leto" He tells you. "Important things..." He trailed off "Anything I consider important enough to tell me would be anything you want to tell me as soon as you think about it or hear of it" He tells you.

She dipped her head, "I presume so, but please don't worry master" a small smile appeared on her face, "She is very strong, I can assure you she will be alright and it was just a mistake on her half. Probably to avoid killing them. In all truthfulness, I think she is strong enough to be incapable of death by a weapon."
"It was a Parrat? I'll try to remember that, Prince Oba" she smiled and she noted down the new information, "I'm happy you think of me as important, I will be sure to share information with you." she paused as she considered it, "Ah.. please do remember to study while we are here, Prince Oba. You could learn plenty. I'll train everyday to become stronger."
She let out a small cough, "And.. you should consider getting to know your future wife, or learning about her, at least don't say no immediately. Must allow for mistresses after all, as marriage is purely a political thing."

*I trust your judgement, Leto, we shall go visit Lady Oriah tonight before we go to sleep* Qillorik decides, though seemingly confused by the unable to die by weapon part. *Ill make sure not to fall behind on my studies, its very important for me to be knowledgeable about how to rule if I am to become king* Prince Oba says, listening to the rest of your suggestion.
*M-Mistresses?* Qillorik looks a little surprised by your mention of having a mistress or two after looking bored when you talked about his fiance. *Leto, Id prefer if you refrained from the topic of my engagement from now on* he looked into the ocean as you said this. *I dont want a political marriage, it sounds just as useful as being close acquaintances with someone* he argues

"A political marriage legally bonds two houses together, which is much stronger than any sort of friendship. It is a legal loyalty that must be obeyed" she looked amused, then obediently shut up about the topic, "Prince Oba?" she asked with a frown after some consideration, talking to the side of the deck, putting her arms on the edge and her head on her hands, "Do you think that they will hand me over to your brother Qikoro for discipline one day?"
"Do be careful who you speak to, we don't know who is on this ship and whether they are under orders." she sighed unhappily, full of worry for him, "Do not even trust me. I do not know what will become of me one day."

"They'll never take you" Qillorik says. "I'll make sure of it, they're never giving you to him" He promises you, his expression turning dead serious.
"What do you mean, you don't know what will become of you?" He inquires, his face full of concern and confusion. "It may be unwise, but I don't think I'd be able to not trust you even if I didn't want to, you're asking me the impossible there" He tells you, looking out into the ocean, where a bright blue and purple Parrat swooped down, snatching a fish into the air and onto the mast of the ship, where it placed the thrashing fish in front of the young man sitting in the crow's nest.
A few hours has passed by, and the sun was setting over the horizon.
"What do you say we go see how lady Oriah is doing?" Qillorik decides, leading you below deck to the infirmary. When you arrived there, Oriah was sleeping in the bed, her robes still on, and still maintaining her elegant aura, even in sleep. Next to her, leaning against the wall, was a blood coated sword leaning on the wall next to her.
"That's a personal guard weapon, not of an ordinary soldier, definitely one of Qinnara's, based off of the pattern on the hilt" Qillorik observed, and looking at the brutal amount of dried blood on it, as well as the blood staining the floor around her bed, still somewhat fresh looking, but not damp enough to stick to anything.
"There's no logical way for her to have survived that, it went all the way through without damaging any organs, and she managed to lose an unnatural amount of blood and still tell me about how her day was 'just a little rough' and how 'inconvenienced' she was, she isn't even asleep from being weak after all of this, she just said she needed her beauty sleep" Dr. Jek tells you and Qillorik as he notices you enter, completely astonished and bewildered by her condition, Prince Oba sharing in his expression as Jek explains her condition.
