Thoughts on releasing: I primarily release my own project pets when I don't need them anymore. It's very rare for me to buy pets specifically to release (I bought a few for the patriotic releasing event), but I don't have anything against people who do it. Especially in the wake of recent discussions about the pet economy and decreasing prices, and having seen the temporary price increase during the releasing event. I understand the people who dislike releasing (I used to dislike it myself), but I also understand that releasing has its place and has the potential to be very useful for the pet economy.
(Quick edit: I'll readily admit that the possibility of finding grove nests did increase my willingness to release. I had been releasing some project pets before that, though. I keep hoping I'll find some themed lups to grow my collection haha)

how do you deal w/ someone harassing you over releasing? got a sarcastic dm that said "hey thanks for releasing my pets, since free pets means release them instead of donating or giving a good home." i tryed a few different things. linked the pet sale rules. when they didnt seem to read it i copy-pasted the forth paragraph ( starting w/ "-If you sell a pet and the buyer releases") and the response was to look at exeptions. obviously i pointed out that public sale is not a contract. told them to contact krin, i think they are doing that now.

i feel like i could of handled it better, maybe mention im part of the group, talk about overpopulating/overbreeding of pets. or that releasing is a better home then being unwanted. ive blocked the harasser but this has happened before, tho that was solved quickly, and i expect it will happen again. i dont think things over enough when im kinda pissed off, so it might help me/other releasers to be more prepared. thoughts?

Well, uh, personally i have never come across this problem but i dunno, maybe i would say I'm part of this group and if they have a problem with it they could ask to be put on the list? I guess if there was nothing on their profile then you can't be blamed after you 've explained that and showed them the rules. Tbh I'm not great at situwtions like that and would've just told them that I'm sorry they didn't put a warning on their page but there's nothing I can do so no point harassing me (aka nicely told them to shut up xD) and blocked them. Did they say anything after you said that public sale isn't a contract?
I think it may be a good idea to put this in a first page post, how to deal with harassers.
