He smiles again, brighter this time I'm glad you earthlings know how to take a joke, he says. I imagine you've been up for a while, and we're headed somewhere important as we speak. Would you like me to show you to your room?

He chuckles at your sleepy stumbling and hands you a bread roll. I assume you're hungry? he asks

"so hows your day been?" she says trying to lighten the mood.

I nodded.

(did you ping sleepless for this? I'm pretty much going to leave you two alone for a hot second, so behave lol)

He leads you down a hallway nearby and places your hand on the scanner next to the door. The door slides open with a soft hiss, showing you a surprisingly plain room. He walks across the room and opens the closet with another scanner. Inside is a pair of green pajamas made from a silk-like material. There's also a green robe and a pair of green lion slippers.
"You can sleep in this," he says kindly. "I will return for you when we arrive at our destination. Sleep well."

You reach the hanger and stand in formation with the other pilots. The inspector walks down the line as you all stand at attention. He notices the crumbs from your breakfast on your shirt and begins to yell at you.

I nodded again.
