can we have some way to stop ppl from going into ranked pvp sw games just to time out? ie if you dont finish placement you cant start another pvp match for 1hr or something.. i stuck w/ ai last round but im trying pvp this time, and theres someone who keeps timing out on setup and stopping me from doing anything. its really annoying.

I agree about snow wars needing a change in player vs player. I've been trying to do my first one, and I've gotten timed out players for like 10 straight games. Here are some ideas I thought of:
1. A cool down period where you can't wage another war if you time out on the placement (as mentioned above).
2. Have players place their game pieces before confirming war, then if they are matched and poof, the other player can still play them and not have their time wasted.
3. Change the task to be "complete" snow wars instead of "wage" snow wars.
If might be helpful to see a counter of the number of people in the queue as well. So if I see someone waiting, I know I can jump in without having a long wait.

I was looking at what I could do after this was brought to my attention a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, the code for Snow Wars is pretty intensive. So any solution that I try and implement will take a bit of effort to squeeze in there somewhere.

Yes, but you have a year to work on it and the improvements can be used next year.
