OKAY SO! :D
I can't tell you how he ended up there in all detail because that's the end of the first book. However, he's in an ancient crystal prison, and lost his memory. There are three worlds - Earth, world of the humans, Aberra, home of the Aberran demons, and Thrylos, home of the ancient/first demons, aka Maelinga. (that's what Light is.) Light is one of the Maelinga - their prince, in fact - meaning he's descended from the first demons created.
As to things happening fast - it's kinda meant to be that way. I wanted to show that Light was suddenly thrust into a new, dangerous world with no time to prepare or even gather his bearings. (I'm glad you picked up on the surrealness. That's exactly what I was going for.) The pace slows down a lot more once things have 'settled down' in the next chapters. I've got 7.5 now!
But yeah - if you want more information on Light's backstory, the first ten chapters of the first book are available on Wattpad here. (last time I checked you don't need an account to view, but they've changed so much and not for the better. :/ )

I have a question for people of the LGBTG+ category. Or anyone who might be gender fluid. My friend and I are planning out a book, and we want a character to be genderfuid. However, we are not sure how to introduce his gender fluidity or what to do for pronouns. Advice?

I'm genderfluid, I guess he could come out to his friends or something? I don't usually tell people what pronouns I use per day, maybe he could just say to use whatever pronouns, whenever? Idk >.>

Oh, he's already come out. He is genderfuid without shame in a society where many look down on "queer" behaviors. His brother is one of few that can tell without being told. It's the pronouns and how we let the readers know, you know what I mean?

Also, does Sylestia now have a system of censoring or something. I was trying to say "q u e e r" and now there's a bunch of astrixs in my other posts.
