Asmodeus huffs as his horse spooks, nodding at Andromeda.

"i'm back, and i brought these tow, they've decided to help" i say, gesturing towards the two beside me. "we're going to wait until morning to move into the forest, we don't want to go out at night when we don't know what's out there"

Asmodeus nods. "A wise move, I think," He offers, shuddering at the memory of the creature in the woods from earlier. "In that case, good night. It would be advisable to get a good night's sleep, unless there are more urgent matters we must attend to."

Vitalus nods his head at her.

I agree to and i slightly wave at the people she brought ....

Rue nods her head in greeting when she is mentioned. Roman is looking at the different animals that the new people have with them. He settles down near the end of the area, knowing that is where his sister will choose to be. Rue watches Roman out of the corner of her eye. Rue ties their horses up near Roman and stands between him and the new people. She pets Sidhe's head and listens to the woods near them. Roman is play wrestling with Cocoa.

i wake before sunrise, shaking everyone else awake too. while they slowly get to their feet, i saddle up vega and get her ready to ride, tossing orion a piece of meat while i do so. "while we were walking, i spotted a trail wide enough for two horses to walk side by side going into the woods, we should take that so we aren't completely surrounded by woods" i say, pointing out the trail i spotted "keep your weapons ready just in case, we don't want to be caught off guard"

"Rrrrright." Asmodeus and his horse, Amaya, are already there. Asmodeus carries a sword and two daggers at his waist..... just in case. He's a capable swordsman, which may come in handy.

Vitalus wakes up and got on his horse and has his gun at his waist.

grabbing my double barrel shotgun, i quickly load it, sliding two shells into it and snapping it closed. i keep it close as we walk, with me taking the lead just in case. orion wags his tail nervously, not used to going in the forest.

the forest is calm, with sun streaming through the leaves as the sun rises and birds beginning to sing. squirrels race through the trees and lizards scuttle about in the fallen leaves. spring is in full swing, so there are plenty of baby animals about, though we can hear them, we do not see them.

orion darts ahead, catching a lizard in his mouth and eagerly shaking it until it stops moving. he drops it, ready to eat it when it leaps up again, startling him and rushing into the underbrush.
