Here's My Entry:
Morning Sky
I based her off on the sky I saw the very first morning when spring came. That very moment I saw the light blue colours and the pink ones, with a little deep blue/purple in the background. It was very beautiful and I just sat on the grass watching the sky feeling happy, until all the colours melted into a single light blue one. I've also chosen a female, because people often see Spring as a female character when it comes to humanising.

Since my woodpecker design below is now part of the festival ;D (so happy to hear such lovely comments about it btw everyone :3) I'm sticking with my spring bird theme and going for a Eurasian Jay, since I was literally just graced with the presence of one of these little fellows in my back garden ^_^

I really know spring is in full swing when I see the woodpeckers out in the garden.
So I based the colours of my Aeridini off of a Great Spotted Woodpecker :3

I based this one on all the new spring tiger cubs. I just love all the new spring babies at the zoos this time of year.

I have based my pair off of the flowering cherry blossoms and dogwoods where I live, the blue sky's and clouds as well as the new green leaf shoots.

The spring sky, butterflies, and pretty flowers (especially Lily's since they're my grandmother's favorite flower).

Because I aIways have a glass of ice-cold pink lemonade the first day of Spring every year, kinda like a tradition ceremony thing to celebrate the start of Spring, when all the snow disappears into green grass and the flowers come out from sleeping all winter and start to bloom. :D
