Appetizer - Kachori!
Kachori is supposed to have originated in Uttar Pradesh or Rajasthan. In these states it is usually a round flattened ball made of fine flour filled with a stuffing of baked mixture of yellow moong dal or Urad Dal (crushed and washed horse beans), besan (crushed and washed gram flour), black pepper, red chili powder, salt and other spices.



Salad - Kachumber Salad!
Kachumber is a salad dish in Indian cuisine consisting of fresh chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and sometimes, chili peppers. The dressing may be based on vinegar or dahi.



Entree - Kootu (Koottu) Curry!
Koottu is a stew made of vegetables and lentils. Many variations of koottu exist and include ingredients such as masala, cumin seeds, coconut, bengal gram, dhaniya, red chilies, few pepper corns, and urad dhal.



Dessert - Anarsa!
Anarsa is a pastry-like snack commonly associated with the Hindu festival of Diwali in Maharashtra and Central India. Its ingredients include jaggery (unrefined cane sugar), rice, poppy seed and ghee (clarified butter).



Sorry for the delay ono;; I was feeling pretty absurdly uninspired. Now that I have the food all planned out I'll have the pets designed within a day.

So I have been charged with making a Danish 4 course meal~

To start, we have a lovely Danish Soup for our appetizer, called Hnsekdssuppe. It is a Danish Chicken Soup made with dumplings, meatballs and cubed vegetables.





For our Salad, there will be a lovely Danish Tradition, the Smrrebrd, which is an open faced sandwich, using rye bread as the base. Our Smrrebrd will be like a salad on rye bread. So todays' Smrrebrd will be Laks med asparges og dild, smoked salmon with lettuce, asparagus, lemon and dill.




For our entre, we will have a Danish Cultural Tradition, bleflsk - Delicious Apple Pork. It has thick strips of streaky pork, diced apples, butter, onions, with rosemary and bay leaves for seasoning.

And finally, to finish it all off with our dessert, we have Wienerbrd(Vienna Bread). This particular pastry is sprinkled with sugar, baked with cinnamon, and has icing sugar on top.
