Scath, I totally missed that bit about the spine count, and I'm (normally) incredibly pedantic about such things. Beautiful as the fins and wings are, I, personally, think your points are both thoughtful and worthwhile.

Edit: OK, my first attempt to give the filly the same number of tail spines on each side...is not going to be posted. Clearly, I must continue studying perspective. But I believe it can be done!
