A soft plop sounded and a pup mewled. "Sounds like you have a strong one here." Stumblefoot said picking up the pup and setting it in front of Jadeheart. "Two sons and two daughters. They are beautifull, Jadeheart." The newborn pups mewled and snuggled closer to their mother.

"Of course you are. I will get you some poppy seeds and borage." he stumbled out of the nursery. When he came back in he carried a bundle of poppy seeds and borage leaves. "Here. The borage will help your milk come and the poppy seeds will allow you to rest." Stumblefoot said as he pusshed them closer to Jadeheart.

"Don't worry. She did better than you think for having four puppies!" Stumblefoot said. Her put his ear to her chest, being careful not to step on the pups. He heard her heartbeat. It was slower than normal but that was to be expected. "She's okay, just tired." he repeated.
