"Are you going to take this chance to escape or are you planning on going back...? If you do go back just please don't tell our owner." at the thought of your owner finding out his eyes rounded in fear.

You look at him. "I don't plan on telling her anything. The question is, are you going to leave?" You ask. You have been silently wondering why he hasn't left yet.

"As I said before... scared. I lost a friend years ago that's why I'm always alone. He ran away but our owner sent some slaves to hunt him down and kill him. He ended up dieing..." he shuffled his feet nervously.

Your face fades down to a frown, then you smirk. "With me, you'll be protected." She said. "Trust me on this. Not only do I have experience in fighting, but I have magical abilities. I could protect us." You say, stretching out your hand. "Join me? Let's build a better place together."

He seems to be thinking about it then he holds his hand out and takes yours, "Is it better that I do or don't ask about the whole magical ability thing?"

You snicker, excited about it. "I know not what my magic can do quite yet. I tried it out earlier today, but nothing happened." You say, disappointment in your eyes. "But when the time comes, I will protect us using the magic." Then, you get an idea. "I could attempt to seal the tunnel, so a hunting party could not follow us."

"Sound good, but I kinda feel bad for the other slaves, even if they are jerks." he replies.

You hold out your hands towards the tunnel, attempting to activate your magic and seal the tunnel. "Well, I'm sure they'll escape someday... just not through here."

You see a faint spark in the gem before a jet of orange lava fly's towards the entrance and begins melting it, then a flicker of lighting follows after and freezes the lava in place, creating a wall.

You seem a little shocked by this, before smiling and staring at the gem in your pocket. "Well, there we go, magic." You say, turning to Tommy. "Now no one can follow us."
