The mare crashed through several stalls, setting them on fire and destroying them. You heard a cry of pain from behind you as the horse passed through the marketplace and out the other side down a main road. There was a tight feeling and as you looked over your shoulders, Prince Sage seemed to be signing directions to the guards. You could see his mouth moving.
The mare looked back as well, she must have gotten an instinctive feeling as she snorted sparks and then did a tight turn down an alleyway, to a closed off exit. She seemed to still be crashing straight ahead, as if she had a plan of some sort, or was about to smash through a brick wall.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me!" I mutter quietly. I close my eyes, bracing for the impact, holding on tightly. I hoped I could trust the mare, and that it wouldn't kill both of them. At the back of her mind, I considered if we survived the ordeal, maybe the mare would stay with me, and I would get to give her a name. Obviously a fire horse would need a flaming name like Incandescent (or Inca for short) or something like Pyre or Inferno. I took a deep breath and held on tightly with my claws as the Horse continued charging at the wall.

You squeezed your eyes shut and felt yourself almost slide off the horses back and then be jerked forward, a loud sound of things clattering to the ground. The mare had jumped from dustbins, onto the walls and only a house. She finally came to a stop of the edge of a house, looking over the market. She gave out a loud neigh, rearing up, flame mane bringing attention of the gatherers. There were replies from the horses around, and they all seemed rather upset an irritable from the disturbance. You practically let go as your fingernails released blood, as it was searing hot and practically burnt your skin.
