Just a heads up so you can fix it before the contest ends, at the current time all your designs are technically disqualified and cannot be selected as Themes. This is because you have two separate colour sets for each species- you are only allowed one colour set per species.
This is stated in the rules in the first post and elaborated on in the guide linked there.

No. You have only one colourset for each species, so there's no problem there for you.

The only thing you might possibly want to do differently is have different traits between the two images to show the colourset off more, to show that it works well on more than just one specific set of traits (but having only one set of traits on display isn't going to disqualify them at all, unlike having two separate coloursets. The traits are literally just for display purposes, unlike the colourset, which is what they're being selected for)
