Subject: Okay. So. Uh. I wrote something. And there's this scene that would be lovely.
Description: So basically, there is this girl (reference below) standing on, like, a sidewalk or something, and it's raining, and she's holding a missing flyer thingy with her face on it.
She has a black jacket with the hood down (despite the fact that it's raining), dark blue jeans, a red scarf, and black hi-tops. She has long dark brown hair and grey-blue eyes.

So the second pic, I'm not sure if it works, what it looks like is better than the first one but for some reason the picture is blocked. I copied pasted the image from an old RP. It should be a girl with earmuffs and a bag thingy right?
Snitbit: I had an orch concert two days ago. Also, I'm more of a writer person :P

Sorry for the late reply, I took a walk^^
For some reason it's really nice here today even though it's the dead of winter.
I can certainly attempt this for you! I don't have a lot of practice on backgrounds, partly because I don't like spending the time to make 'em look nice. Hahah, honesty. But a sidewalk shouldn't be too hard^^
The second picture doesn't work, unfortunately. I think I can make the first one work though.
I can send you a thumbnail when I sketch it just in case anyway? Like what I did with Soren?
Aaah, my sisters used to be in an orch! Sadly, I'm not coordinated enough to play an instrument, or sports for that matter. Stupid dyspraxia one-upping me again C:
I like writing too, though I spend more time on my art. Weaving stories will probably always remain a second hobby. Plus, I love words a little too much, so literally nobody but me and the theologians will be able to read them without a dictionary, and theologians won't like the fantasy stuff I spit out^^

So, I got around to reading your fanfic, which I enjoyed immensely, even though I didn't know about 1/2 of the characters.
Bah, details^^
So, I had a few questions for the cover:
1. how big does it have to be? Is there a minimum or maximum to the image?
2. do you want it to be portrait or landscape? I saw the one you have now is portrait (the canvas is higher than it is long), which makes more sense for a book^^ But I thought I should just ask anyway.
3. Do you have a preference for the dimensions of the canvas? I usually draw on 2000x2200, but that isn't very book-shaped. Is something more around 81/2 x 11 what you're looking for? Lemmie know^^
Also, for the topic of the cover, I feel like I shouldn't draw any of the characters directly. Especially since I haven't read the original stories many of them star in, I would have little idea what sort of personality they inhibit, or details to incorporate. And since they are popular characters, I feel like there are as many depictions of them as there are people to depict 'em. I just feel like that's a dark, spiraling void I don't feel like dipping into.
So, if I don't focus on the characters, do you have a preference to what the main subject is? I could still incorporate some of the kids (but maybe not all 16 of them...), maybe just the 'main' ones in the story?
If you have a preference which characters are incorporated lemmie know.
