This is my Hard Frost Griffi
Like many people, I don't get snow very often and when I do it's hardly enough to stick, so my Griffi is based on the ice we get. In the mornings it's thick enough on the roof tops that it looks like snow.

My inspiration is ice and snow. This griffi represents what happens to me in Colorado. Lots of snow and ice. Its great

I would call this a Frostbitten Owl Griffi.
I would like this as a female.

As what I acquired from this image, a lowly backstory. A male, pure white, owl was looking in the tundra for some white-footed mice or something else delicious to eat. He landed on the permafrost, trying to scope out some prey by hearing. He tried to loft into flight, but his feet were stuck to the ground in frost. He passed out, and when he awoke, he was a mythical griffi, and took up a role, screeching at weary travelers not to stay in the same place for too long.

Winter always makes me think of pinecones and frosted pine trees. :)

Here is my Griffi

I got the inspiration from the Central European folklore Krampus. Who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved.

I have always seen winter as the time when every living creatures getting ready for hibernation. Where the plant and its seed fall into a sweet night sleep.

The main theme color is blue. The bright blue represent the spirit of the living creatures whom sending there soul away during the dark and cold winter. The green represent the immortal biogen that recreate plant life. The brown represent the soil and the warmness.

I'm thinking of faraway land where sunshine can not reach, where the Griffi is the only kind that is recreated to sustain and protect living things. Despite being the purest Griffi ever born in this land, its coat is seeped with the blueish winter sky.
