The bird seemed to cause general unease within the group, making him laugh.
"It is edible and mortal, but I don't think we should kill it just yet. Parrots are generally harmless, so I'd have no worries about it."

Even though Traqil lowered his weapon, she still seemed on edge. The. thought of the men described to accompanying the bird was bothering her more and more.

Traqil whistled for the bird, and sure enough, it came and landed onto his shoulder.
"**** you." The bird said, causing Traqil to laugh. It seemed friendly.
He stroked the birds wings, which were soft and colorful. Traqil noticed that for some reason, the bird had one of it's feet closed tight. Despite Traqil's attempt and prying it open, the bird's foot remained closed tight.
Zeth
Something was giving Zeth a bad gut feeling. She wasn't sure what, but the best she could do was try to find out.
Both
"Traqil, help me out." She said as her horns vibrated a but, Traqil doing the same. They both turned around every so often, their expressions changing with every movement they sensed. They began counting..
1...5..9...12...32
Once they both opened their eyes, they looked panic as they said "32" in sync

"Draw your weapons...Now!" She yelled.
Around them, the forest seemed to shake...
