I'm actually OVERJOYED that the generator messed up on her colors! <3 She looks so much more natural now!

I know the generator likes to play games on us and all. But I actually like that aspect of it. I get bored when pets come out exactly how I want it and the fact that it likes to change colors is neat. I'm weird yes but it brings something new to the table~ <3

Not only that but, if you look at it for a while, the generator can actually make some rather good things too with its mess up. Like with how Kitten came out. (But I guess I'm just the odd one out here... unu)

I completely agree with you most of the time. More often than not the generator makes pets look much better than I did.. BUT some colours swing horribly on the odd occasion and it's those moments that make me all... D:

Well that is true but in all honesty, I think that's what makes Sylestia unique. c=

You see all these pet sites that always give you what you want while Sylestia actually makes you say "Okay, well, it didn't come out right but I'm sure that, with a good match, I'll make some wonderful pets!"

Sure people don't like breeding but that's what part of the site is about isn't it? About breeding to get that perfect pet. Yeah its hard and frustrating but worth it in the end. Like Rethy's nixi projects. He was able to finally get his 4-vis nixi and he's pretty happy about it. That's what I think Krin and Fai were aiming for. You work hard, and you get rewarded for it. =3

@Littlelunar, that is very very true
The colour swing definitely makes it more interesting to generate pets. It's the anticipation it creates, "How close am I gonna get this time? Is the generator gonna make my pet more awesome than I could?" sorta thing.

Which when compared to what I was going for:


I LOVE that orange the generator made for colour 1. The reason I went more yellow was because I couldn't find quite the right orange to contrast the blue nicely AND still be noticeably different to the orange of the spangles. The generator just fixed my pet for me <3

I actually like how he came out too, the orange in the preview seemed to be a little too bright imo. But it still looked nice. c=

Originally I was thinking I could make him look like this but I got this instead:



He came out much lighter but I actually like it a lot more than I had it. <3 Because now he looks more like a shadow rather than just black nothingness xD

I think the generator doesn't troll us per say. Maybe the generator is just trying to help us by giving our pets something different. Something that makes them stand out from the crowd. The different colors just gives them character! 8D
