After being stationed in Iceland for a few years, winter always makes me think of the Northern Lights. I used to love watching them dance across the sky like some sort of living creature.

I based her off of a couple of different things. One being my favorite place to be during the dead of winter, all the stone looks blue-ish, and there's snow everywhere, and it never fails to leave me breathless! Another being a snow leopard, because leopards are wicked! (And also because I'm an Off-White fan orz.) And probably because when I came home today it was snowing, and there's ice everywhere, and I slipped like a million times going from the car to the house. -3-

I based him off of one of my favorite things about Winter and the Holidays, a nice cup of steaming hot chocolate (with a touch of mint) after coming in from playing in the snow!
He is based off of the snow in winter, the glaciers found in the Arctic and Antarctic, as well as the ice found frozen all over place outside my house today.

Based off a snowy winter's night, when everything's quiet and all you can hear is the sound of your own breathing. It makes me think of looking up at the sky as the flakes fall down around you and you can see your own breath in white little puffs of fog while sitting on the doorstep bundled in a coat, the warmth and comfort of home just a few steps away.
I chose feathered wings, cause they remind me of warmth, instead of the cold-looking icicle wings they normally have, the leopard spots represent the snowflakes falling, and the whirling snow mutation as the fog your breath makes when you stand out in the cold.
