"Who knows. I'm afraid of people and messing up. It doesn't make much sense since I enjoy talking, to myself at least. I do pretty well in school, too. Most fears are irrational..." They dismissed it with a shrug and change the subject to something Chester had noted, "Video games? I've never played one before." Schylur admits with a nervous chuckle. "I bet I'll be terrible anyways. I'm not good at reacting quickly. Though I've always been curious to know how I would preform." They smile at Chester. They found him to be a fairly easy person to talk to. They wondered if they and Chester might be able to play video games together some time.

Chester


" I think some games could help you with that, once you get a hang of your control ou will get gradualy better." He said while smiling back, it was so easy to get along with Schylur he almost slipped out of character for a moment. " Not all games require speed tho, i am sure you would be able to find somthing that you would enjoy in those if the others are not to your liking. "

Kino
Kino decided it was time to go to Chester so the later could try and teach Kino how to do card tricks and such. He was really looking forward to it. He said goodbye to Eleni and Celeste and trotted off to find Chester. He wasn't too surprised to find Chester talking with someone. "Hi Chester!!! Hi other person!!" Kino chirps as he tries to figure out how to break his fast pace and slow down so he doesn't run into anyone.

Schylur
Schylur nods, thankful that Chester was taking time with them. Kino's call startled them. They took a half-step back as they looked to Kino.
"Watch out!" Kino warned Schylur a bit too late. Kino crashes into Schylur and knocks them both to the floor. Kino pops up a second later, used to being knocked over and crashing into things. "I'm sorry. Are you alright?"
"It's alright. Yes, I'm fine. Sorry I was in the way. Are you alright?" Schylur asks Kino, getting to their feet. Their side, back, and some of their arm was stinging from the impact with the ground.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I've seen worse." Kino shrugs.
Schylur starts to nervously ramble on. "I've seen worse, too..." They babble about a time they had seen someone's hand get badly scorched because of an accident. Kino stares at them. He wasn't sure what to make of it.
"Uh, that's nice?" Kino turns to Chester. "You said you could teach me later how to do the card thing. Can you teach me now?" Kino asks.
Schylur keeps quiet as they back up, figuring that, since Chester now had Kino to interact with, having two people can be a bit overwhelming and Chester would prefer to speak to someone he knew better.

Chester

It was mainly due to luck as well as his past experiences in the casino industry that Chester didn't display his surprise when Kino appear or cringed at Schylur's rambling. He was never one for violence so the knowledge of this description was a bit mutch for him, so he jump at the oportunity to change the subject as soon as it appear. "Ah, of course Kino ! Let's go to somwhere where tables are avalable, it will make it easyer for all of us. And Schylur, you are welcome to join us if you want."

"Great! Thanks." Kino thanks Chester, hopping in place.
"No, thanks. I... I don't know." Schylur wanted to leave before they said something else out of place or unnecessary.
"No! Don't leave!" Kino latches onto Schylur's arm. "You haven't given me proper time to annoy and question you. For example, I have yet to figure out: What is your favorite ice cream; are you friends with Chester; what do you like to do in your free time; and are you a guy or a girl?" Kino fires these questions rapidly. Schylur freezes up, feeling flooded with the sudden wave of questions. Kino brings them to a table.
Schylur quietly answers the questions that Kino asked, though the more they answered questions, the more guarded they seemed to get, "My favorite ice creams rocky road; Chester is my friend, I think; I like to talk to myself in my free time." Schylur didn't answer the last question since they wouldn't know how to explain.

(Just a headsup this Orca is bkc on half hiatus. Still chekcing in though, ill still put in major plotplints and stuff jsut wont read theough evwrything and post as much as i normally do)


Eventually Newt left the library for fresh air, taking anice stroll around campus.

Chester

Noticing Schylur's inconfort he quickly swooped in, pulling a deck of card out. " My, my, Kino, you have to be carefull not to spook poor Schylur away. The two of you just met give them a chance to meet you before meeting the questions. Here, i brough a paper deck, those are alot less bitey then the ones i usualy play with, ideal for someone who is just starting."

"Sorry. Nice to meet you, Schylur... Ok, now may I ask questions?" Kino teases Schylur, knowing he just had asked one to gain permission. Then his attention was on the cards and Chester. "How can cards bite you? Do they have mouths? Do they have fangs?" Kino picks a card up and examines it for anything that showed it could bite him.
Schylur silently thanks Chester for hopping in before Kino could ask them any more questions. Schylur calmed down some when Kino turned their attention away from them. They weren't sure how Chester put up with Kino.
