Brazentalons' wings stretch out to either side as he crouches and starts loping forwards. He launches into the sky, flapping furiously to gain lift before the two of you are high above the tree canopy of the forests.

"I don't have that much I'll pay 10 gold for the bow and 9 for both quivers of arrows," Asteria tries to ammend her offer, "and I'll recommend your shop to other travelers since aside from the bow you have nice quality goods here."

(I kinda figured the haggling would get harder since charisma failed)

Jar of Hair Dye applied and consumed

This hair dye was of pretty good quality. It should last a long while. The orc looks curiously on as you apply it, but doesn't ask about it once you're finished.

"They always take prisoners to jails first. Ask about and look for contacts after. So no detours," the orc scratches his chin thoughtfully. "My old clan, literally go straight to Boulder Arena." (Well... not necessarily harder. Mainly I realised I should be sticking to the rules I've set for proficiencies to encourage you all to develop your skills, so I'm going to start letting you all know when your skill level either helps a situation or doesn't let you do something. To haggle well you need lvl 3 charisma, so get your character developin' them skills :P)

"He can talk!" Crimson yips. "Calling us pinch-pennies. Letting go of one gold coin is too much to ask." She shakes her head.

Asteria frowns, "Sorry here's your gold. Your goods are fine though especially your battle axes. Merry Chillfest."
She quickly exits the shop to go find the others.
"Crimson if it's alright with you and the others I think we should camp outside of town."

(Maybe I should make a difficulty setting available so people can decide whether they want their lives to be easier or not... means you'd have more choice over how strict you want me to be, but I dunno)

The gold seems to cheer him up slightly. "Yep... thanks. Same to you."

As you leave the shop and voice your suggestion Crimson nods vigourously. "Definitely! I don't want to stay in this place any longer than we have to."

The other young creatures agree, nodding just as enthusiastically as Crimson. Numbat looks at the others' reactions before agreeing himself. "Probably for the best. This is dwarf country, goblins aren't welcome here."
