TOP 3
"Inspirational Artists" Challenge
Even though we didn't have as much participation with this as I would have liked...I do believe there are a great many other artists out there we all find as inspirational and or influential in some way. You would be surprised at what artists have inspired people to do. And I am not just talking about the ones that paint, sketch, and draw. There are many different types of artists out there. Many different types of mediums so to speak. That is why, I am happy with what you have all brought to the table this week. You did an amazing job, and you should be proud of yourselves. I thank each and everyone of you that participated this week. For now though, help me congratulate our TOP 3 for this week...They are...
1st PLACE ~
Limor's Designs:
(Junji Ito)
@Limor...To be honest you have never disappointed with what you have brought to the table. Even now, you brought some amazing pieces to share with one and all. I love the fact you went after lesser known artists as you did, and brought them all to light for us. You made each one stand out from the next one. Very well done. And with your "Junji Ito" design, you are right. He has inspired so many. And what many don't realizes is the cosplays he inspires besides various other areas of entertainment...Is that the cosplay world is a HUGE fan base, that many...I am talking many attend every month if not ever year..From anime to movie and everything in between. And "Junji Ito", had a hand in all that. So for your hard work, You can help create a new challenge. Please submit your ideas via PM, so we can work out the details. Otherwise, please send me a COD of 20K. If you want a pet from the group tab in my stables, please let me know. If not also let me know and I will send you a mystery item instead.
2nd PLACE ~
Dragon's Designs:
(Quinni AKA QuinniArt)
@Dragon...I delighted in the fact you were inspired by Quinni. It is not easy at all by any means for someone to use water colors and I admire you for doing so. Just remember patience and determination go a long way. Not only that, but in regards to your design it shows signs of said water colors which was pretty neat to see as well. Keep up the amazing job that you do hon. For now, please either decide if you would like a mystery item to do with as you wish or a COD of 18K.
3rd PLACE ~
Valkyrie's Designs:
(Thomas Kinkade)
@Valkyrie...Your design brought back some positive memories for me, so thank you very much on that one. I loved your choice in artists, and think you did an amazing job. You came close to mirroring his image. The only thing that would have made it better, if we had an overalls option with the plaid you used would have been spot on. But atlas, we do what we can. I hope you and would love for you to keep shining like you do. Normally I don't offer 3rd place anything, but since we didn't have many participate and I would love to reward you for your hard work...Please send me a COD for 13K.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Honorable Mention ~
Bunny's Designs:
(Claude Monet)
@Bunny...I don't normally do honorable mentions, but your hard work deserves mentioning. You were amazing this week, and I am glad to see another classical artist dusted off and brought back to light. He was known for more than just his lilies, but I am glad you took advantage of that feature. And I loved how you used the black and white image so to speak over the colored background. It made him stand out more. Way to go on that. For your hard work, please send me a COD for 8K.

"The Pastel" - Challenge
(READ everything!!!)
Those That Have Opted Out: Articu, Maplepuppy365
This challenge is in lue of the "Easter/Spring" holiday. You will need to create a avi and or pet design using only using pastel colors. Please be sure to follow all requirements, rules, and or guidelines for this challenge. I look forward to seeing what you all bring to the table this week. Good luck!
( The more work you put into this design post of yours, the better!)
~REQUIREMENTS~
1.) You can only use pastel colors, in which you must also list each pastel hex code you use as well as the slot in which you used it. (ie...EC: C7CEEA, C1: FFB7B2, G1: FFDAC1, M1:B5EAD7..Etc...Etc..) If you do not know what is or is not a pastel color, please do a bit of research as google should be able to help you with that issue. If your color choice is deemed non-pastel, you will be asked to change the color.
2.) Your design cannot be smaller nor bigger than the example shown when creating a pet design. (Size=250) For avi size, please do not enlarge or shrink the image. Just copy and paste straight from the wardrobe.
~RULES/GUIDELINES~
1.) All D.C.U. regulations/rules are in place and in affect.
2.) Failure to follow the outline rules/guidelines/requirements, will result in your design and or designs becoming ineligible for possible placement. You will be contacted via PING and or PM to correct the situation in a timely fashion. It is up to you as the designer to correct your design and or designs before deadline which is every Sunday at 5pm CST unless otherwise stated. If you fail to participate by submitting a design and or stating you are opting out for the week prior to deadline, you will have 1 chance to explain to me privately before a mark is issued.
All right folks, I have finished all updates and postings. If you need me please by all means PING me and or PM me. Until then, good luck on this week's challenge.

Also, on the butterfly scarf it has this sort of default gray, so ignore that. I chose puffadore because I just feel like they are the sort of sylesti that would be pastel.
