"They've been trying to figure out who the shifter is for a while now and tour neighbor had suspicions. The boy i fought with earlier he's also a shifter but he was giving your neighbor information about today's incidents with your friend, he doesn't think shifters should work together but I believe otherwise." he said without turning to look at you.

"I feel alright." he replied smiling when he realized it was you. The bandana came off, one of his eyes had a huge cut across it and would probably leave a scar.

I let out my breath in relief. "Your eye though... We'll have to get you a bit of red fabric so you can tie it over that and look like Yasmine!" I laugh a little, then suddenly turn solemn. "Oh, poor Yasmine. Lost her eye, lost her younger brother, and finally lost her older brother." I seem to snap back to reality and grin at Kody. "No idea what I'm talking about? It's the fictional universe of a movie I watched way back when I was a 'normal' kid. It's called Wolf Song, and it was my favorite movie of all time. I might yammer on about it occasionally. I used to always go on and on to myself, tracking the storyline through in my head. Now that I have you to talk to, at least I won't sound insane!" I pause. "But are you sure you're alright? Those cuts look kind of deep... If you're okay with it, I'll go get the others so they can do whatever they would do about this."
