What about Kitra or Tsifira? The first thing I noticed about her were the spots on her head, which reminded me of a crown, so both these names mean crown or crowned.
And yes, testing would be nice.

Hm. "Beltane" or "La Bealtaine" would be nice, but I already have this fellow--
My name is Bealltainn. I live to serve (Springtime vixens).
D'you think his name is too similar?
Other names I'm toying with are "Ashtoria Day," "Ceadshamhain," "Ceitemain," "Hexennacht," "Kevadpuha," "La Buidhe Bealltainn," "Latha Buidhe Bealltainn" (or just "Latha Bealltainn"), "Easter," "May Day" (kind of obvious, but somehow I haven't used that one yet), "Oiche Bealtaine," "Pascha," "Shenn Laa Boaldyn," "Valborg," "Vappu," and "Walpurgisnacht." I considered the name "Good Friday," which sounds cute . . until you find out what it means.
Anyone else wants to chime in, feel free.

Ah yeah I think it'd be too similar sounding myself. There's more spring festivals out there though. Like Japan has a bunch during spring like Takayama Matsuri.
Here's a youtube video btw. It's really cool! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whMmVOR_UGA It shows some of the puppets.

OK, since I am definitely leaning toward giving her the Magic Spell trait, I shall name her "Hexennacht."

Bealltainn (in my mind) could be pronounced as Bee-ahll-tann (silent I) - don't ask.
whereas calling one beltane would be like bel-tane.
additionally you could call it beltine...I think that's from Wheel of Time...

The word "Beltane" is, in fact, pronounced bel' tane. It's derived from the Gaelic word "Bealltainn." Depending on the speaker's dialect, Bealltainn is pronounced baal' tin yeh, bel' tin eh, or beeal' tin eh. (Source: http://www.teanglann.ie/en/.)
I'm assuming the Wheel Of Time author took "beltine" from the real-world holiday--is it the word for a spring celebration in that milieu?

Yes. I believe it was.
Beltine is a festival that welcomes the coming of the warmer weather after the winter has passed. However, it seems to be closer to a 'summer' festival because there are maypole dances involved. However I do vaguely it being mentioned about the pairing up of the male/female youths for the dances...so...yeah it seems to be more of a spring festival...or at least a fertility festival, which is usually associated with spring, also.
