What I don't understand is why they'd single out females for such an insulting pose anyway, it's like saying males are better than females and showing the females as cripples on purpose as a result.

I do not believe that is the point of the remake. To me it appears the females are more playful almost a more motherly look to them while the males have a more aggressive appearance ( solid protectors ).

Truthfully I believe the remake looks nice compared to the older design the Morkko had. It doesn't look insulting however if you'd rather the male aggressive appearance then create a male rather than a female.

When we created our bases almost 4 years ago, we decided to create the male and female bases with slightly different poses so that they looked different. Our art style has evolved a lot since way back then and we hope that someday we will be able to revamp the avatar artwork.

I am sorry that you do not like the female base, but there is no reason say things like this. It's impossible to create artwork that 100% of players like, but we do the best that we can.

Also, this discussion is very off topic for this thread.

The female pose is not found naturally in anything human unless said person has a crippling disease or injury or has to, at best, pee really, really badly. Nothing both healthy and human has one knee attached to the back of the other and the ankle permanently twisted. A more delicate frame for females would have done the same job and looked a lot more natural

As it is, the pose selected for female avatars is unnatural at best and insulting at worst. But I won't say more about it at this time or in this thread.

*is really excited* I'm so happy my babies get a new look, it will be a definate plus for my project! Plus it gives me even more to work even harder :) only bad thing is that the essences have jumped from 20k-30k to 70k-100k :P but just a minor detail.

The artwork looks stunning. I'm with water and would definately like to see a colored version to see which colors will be where *mostly which color will be used for feathers* I love how fierce the women are looking, was hoping for a battle ready women, since mostly just the males have the masculine feeling. Women should just rule the world like the animal kingdom >:) *snuggles morkkos*

Also will new traits be realeased like the last couple revamps? Will their be a essence sell too? *would help by getting essences for project* This probably made no sense to anyone, I'm just really excited.

*still likes female avatar* actually I see a lot of girls stand like that, and I'm sure not all of them need the bathroom lol

Um. ..I know this was a while ago, but I feel the need to point out. ..

I stand like that ALL the time. It's a resting pose for me. I don't even notice I'm doing it most of the time. But it definitely IS a natural pose. I'm not crippled, I'm not flexible, it's honestly comfortable for be to stand like that, enough so that my body naturally goes into that position without me even trying to do it.

Sorry. I'm not trying to argue or start a fight or anything. I just honestly like the female pose. I think it's cute. ..but that's my opinion

I think I am so attached to this new lineart because it reminds me of "home." Before my grandpa died, he used to take me to Rock Creek. Of course I never saw a bear there, but those woods made me feel like one. I felt wild, and this new look just puts those feelings into a spectacular image :)

It might be the curve and position of the ears, all you see is the point and not the cute little swirl they have on the ears, I like the female too but I think I would make her teeth smaller.
