Blackfire darted out of the bushes and leaped onto the lead dog's back. He dug in as hard as he could into the dog's hard skin as he could with his teeth, and pulled. The leader howled in pain and shook Blackfire off. Blackfire got to his feet, swiping everything he could within his reach.

Lightningstar narrowed her eyes as her clanmates fought the dogs. She leaped behind the bushes and raced towards the dogs. When she neared on she lunged quickly out and slashed it's tendon before rushing back in the bushes and heading towards another dog. She didn't even wait to see it spin around. She heard it yowl and that was enough. She leaped out of the bushes and slashed a dog's shoulder as she raced by, disappearing again. She smiled grimly as she remembered how she had lived up to her name as an apprentice. A dog crashed through the bushes behind her, possibly followed by a second. She raced up a tree and jumped to another, doubling back to the battle. She hoped Stormpelt was okay. She HAD to be.

Stormpelt laid on the branch, blood pouring out of big wounds. She heard yowling in the distance and yelps.
"I must FIGHT!" she yelled at herself. She leaped to her paws, stormed down the tree and raced towards the noise. She leaped onto the nearest dog. The leader. Blackfire was thrown off the dog just as she arrived. She leaped in his place, no one noticing her. She sank her teeth into the leaders neck. Her paws, as fast as lightning, were raking the dog all over the place. The dog yelped and yelp and soon turned tail and ran. She leaped off the dog, and watched it go. Her wounds poured blood even more but she ignored the pain. She must help Lightningstar.

She yowled jumping out of the bushes, her amazing speed and her large muscles helped her fight the dogs. She flashed around slashing at the dogs. She jumped off one dog to the other. She got caught ones jaws it was about to sink its teeth in until she stopped her breathing and went limp. The dog dropped the limp body.
She awoke and slashed the dog it turned and ran.

Blackfire swiped at the other dogs as they ran by, fleeing from the bold warriors. Blackfire had managed to get a small cut over his eye, nothing big, but it would leave a scar.
"Is everyone okay?" he asked.

She panted a few cuts and bites here and there, but she was fine. ``I'm fine, just a few scratches and bites.``

When they walked back she had shuffled closer to Blackfire. ``Blackfire you did great out there.`` She meowed. They continued walking until they hit camp. She split apart from him, she lapped up some water and collected some extra moss. She soaked it in the pool and gave them to the other cats. She sniffed out some cobwebs from a rocky hollow in a rock and plastered them on the cat's wounds.

Stormpelt was dizzy from her blood loss and exhaustion. She followed the other members of the clan home. A thick trail of blood followed her. Once she walked into the camp, she collapsed and blacked out.

As soon as the dogs left, Lightningstar began to look for any herbs that would help. All she could find was some cobwebs in the tree she was hiding in, so she carefully grabbed them before rushing back to camp. "Does anyone have any serious wounds?" She asked, glad she didn't have to worry about herself. Then she noticed Stormpelt lying on the ground. Blood soaked the ground. Starclan, help me! she rushed over, and began applying the cobwebs, muttering and asking for Starclan not to take her yet. "I need some burdock root and goldenrod, and more cobwebs!" She yowled to anyone who could hear her. If her sister hadn't been a medicine cat, she doubted she would remember any of this.

``Yes I may be able to find some herbs for us.`` She stalked out of camp, she found some GoldenRod in a cluster of roots. She found more herbs and brought them back to camp.
