The inspiration for the Vernal Storm Griffi comes from the frequent storms and showers in spring. The Griffi seems formidable like the thunderclouds that roll in during spring. The navy blue represents the darkening sky, and the yellow represents the lightning and also the sun coming out after. His grey wings show the color of the heavy clouds, and the clovers encircling him shows the new life that springs up after the passing of a storm. The Griffi is a winter sylesti yet this one passes into spring and brings the beginning of a new cycle.

And I thought it was very representative of spring, as it shows both the flora and fauna of springtime. It's also a very cute image haha, the bunny is sniffing the flower xD

And I didn't want the base colour to be green, as green is a very striking colour and doesn't fit well with many other colours. Thus, I went with neutral colours like off-white and brown, along with different shades of purple that complement each other. Green is used for decoration in the diamond dust, where it is subtle and pretty.

Inspired by the beautiful dapples of sun that shine through the leaves of the trees and the relaxing feeling I get when taking a morning walk in the woods by my house.

This fella's based off of the "Sutter's Gold" hybrid tea rose cultivar. It's a pretty attractive flower.

Storm Cloud Aeridini
Normally for spring I would do something green or based on a flower.. but this year in the North East US we've had nothing but cloudy weather so I thought this was a little more fitting.

Where i live in spring it usually gets very warm (Atleast it did this year!) and i can go swimming! I always look forward to spring because all the flowers start blooming and i can finally go jump into the river! The blue represents the river and the flowers represent all the flowers blooming and growing1 The tan is is the color of the river bed and also the dirt the flowers grow on!

A night time spring storm is a dangerous and beautiful thing. The sky is black with gray clouds covering up the ever darkening sky from the setting of the sun. Green plants seem to glow as they collect rain and reflect the lights from cars and street lights. When the rain is warm it is fun to run through the night, just don't forget to set out the towels and start the hot coco before you go on your adventure.

Verdant Growth Lunemara



The beginning of spring marks the rebirth of the natural world as the air starts to warm. Green shoots and buds begin to poke up through the soil as the trees awaken from their slumber. Edible fruits emerge in vibrant colours and of delicious scent and taste to entice the birds, insects and mammals. This lunemara is a spirit of Nature with fruits for eyes and branches for wings. Her manner is gentle and nurturing, she is of abundance and plenty.
