Snares are bought from towns.
Go to the town, go to the market, and the traps should be the first thing on there.

Esior's Haven only sells the green ones,
Sanctuary of Saeriellle sells green and blue,
Ethernia sells green, blue, and purple.

If a festival happens to be on, you can buy any of these types from the vendor, who tends to be located somewhere in the vicinity of the entrance.

Master (red) traps are the only type of trap that you can buy from other players and are obtained from the Diamond Shop (but these are typically reserved for use on legendaries, mysticals, and themed nephini, none of which are findable in either the Viridian Meadows or Umbra Forest, only Astryl's Vale and fest zones)

When i caught one, it didn't go into my stables but still used up the trap.

Did you check your hatchery?
Also when you try to trap a pet there are a few out comes.
1) The trap has success and the pet gets trapped and goes to your stables
2) The Trap fails and the pet remains in Battle
3) The trap Fails and the pet flees from battle
4) The trap fails and the pet is defeated in battle (AKA the pet dies)

not sure if this has been asked or if i did not look hard enough but its been a long time since i left and came back so i dont remember if the tutorial told me how to switch my active battle pet (if that can be done)

Yeah, she's nowhere. I've heard about the outcomes thing, but I didn't know that the trap could fail and the pet dies. Maybe that happened?

go in exploration and select the button called 'party', you can remove a pet from your team with the red - icone and add one with the green + who is down the page. ^-^

I'm trying to breed my starter and her "Mate" but its not letting me. I go into the breeding ground and pick my male but when i try to choose my female to breed her, it doesnt show her name. It says shes my active pet but i dont know how to change that
