"Yeah, but that way WE all die too!" I hiss, realizing what Maple is thinking.

"i'm not sure, if she can manipulate metal while solid, can't she manipulate molten metal?" i whisper back. ruby glances back at us, but doesn't say anything.

she shot a glare at him "you didnt let me finish" she snapped back "i can make a shield that can protect us" she said pinching him hard

"about that...i can't actually control when that happens" i grin sheepishly, rubbing my arm where she pinched me. "silence" ruby snaps from her seat, watching the road outside pass by. when she's satisfied we aren't being followed anymore, she signals for the driver to pull over, and the driver pulls into a abandoned warehouse.

ruby pulls out her phone, scrolling through her contacts and pressing one, holding the phone to her ear. "we're headed home" she says into the phone "we have guests." she doesn't wait for the person on the other end of the phone to answer before hanging up and stepping out of the car, gesturing for the rest of us to follow her.

"you shut up and while your at it brush your teeth yo breath stank" she said to Ruby rolling her eyes "anyways! before we was rudely interrupted!!!!" she said turning back to them "i don't know about yall but im not tryna go wit her" she says "shes worse than my mom" she winced getting out the care and backing up

ruby bristles at the comment, prepared to make a biting retort, but is soon distracted by the colorful girl who steps out of the wall to her left. the girl is wearing a rather poofy 1940's style light pink dress with white lace under the skirts, and fancy pink dress shoes. like the driver, her skin is a light golden color. however, unlike the driver, her hair is done up in two massive spiraling pigtails of pink and blue that go a few inches past her shoulders.

the girl, upon spotting ruby, rushes up to her, taking ruby's hands in her own gloved hands and grinning excitedly. "ruby you're back!" she gushes "and you brought friends!" she adds, looking around ruby at us. "oh look at this one's eyes. they're so dark!" she point at me, grabbing my face and tilting it to look at my eyes. her eyes are blue, but much lighter than mine, and her pupils are blown wide like she's high or something. the girl giggles, letting my face go. "you're eyes are just so pretty i could cut them out and put them in a jar!" she says, stepping back to be at ruby's side. "uh...thanks?" i respond, giving her a dubious look.

Maple was cringing so hard she grabbed her and and pulled her away from the girl "yeah i did't sign up for an energetic child and we arn't friends she's just a horrible person who decided to kidnapp us from our perfect life " she said pointing to ruby" so like keep your hands away from us and i wont make you choke on water and die yes!" she said walking the opposite direction with the cat in her arms and leaning against a tree she was being her tough self when she had to deal with people like this simply sticking up for herself
