Skywhisper nods with an amused snort, following after you as you approach the centaur.
She turns as you approach and offers you a broad smile. "Hello! Yes, of course. One of my fabulous rooms will cost you a fair price of 3G per night," she says. She casts a look over your shoulder at your griffin. "Oh, and I don't mind familiars either. The more the merrier! As long as you don't make a mess, we won't have any problems."
"I can manage that," he says to you.

The pair look up at you with big, hopeful eyes. "I'd like if we could ever see him again," Crimson yips.
Numbat peers out from behind you, happy that the coast is clear. "Where is it we're heading now, then? Straight on into... t-the southern territories?" he stammers. Clearly he doesn't have good memories of his homelands.
Do you wish to fast travel back the way you came, towards the southern territories?

(The first paragraph, I thought: 'seems fine to me'. Now I've hit the second, and I'm verily confused xD
Gold star for the funniest response I've ever received, well done)
You used Firewood. Uses remaining: 1
The centaur gives you a funny look before settling on the other side of the fire, holding his hands out to warm them. Brazentalons collapses, tiredly, onto the ground next to you. He shoots a warning glare at the centaur before falling soundly asleep.
The centaur looks like he wants to say something, a hesitant expression on his face. But you fall asleep before he finds the words he's looking for.
In the morning, you awake to frost as usual, worse than yesterday. The fire has kept most of it at bay though, along with your blanket.
You're the first one to wake.
You feel hungry.

The giant orc lets out a hearty laugh, ruffling up your hair patronisingly. "The elf has fight in 'im, Spork. Yet 'e won't last a heartbeat in them arenas." He then completely ignores you, satisfied that you aren't his problem.
Bluff - charisma successful
You're able to examine the guard without attracting any attention. On closer inspection you can see there are a dozen of them, four orcs and eight goblins. The goblins are skinny and flinch when the orcs in the group so much as glance at them. They're paying very little attention to you.
The four orcs, including the leader in front of you, are armed with clubs. The leader, though, also holds a large warhammer.
"Now, to get all the way 'ere from Elvenor, you must have a good bit of gold on you," the lead guard grunts, grinning. "You need 10G for passage."
Spork looks alarmed as he looks through his pack. With a lot of scrabbling about, he manages to just procure enough. The leader isn't over yet, though, as he leans down and bares his tusks at you. "10G each."

Nicote glares at him. "I aint Mr. Moneybags, whatcha think im stuck with this loaf for?" He grumbles. "Cant a body get a break from paying sh*t every other day in this place?" He cant remember if he had gold on him but he doubts it somehow.

No gold in inventory
The leader glares back. "No gold, no passage. Unless you have anythin' else of value, elf, I suggest you find someplace else to be."
Spork comes up with something and interrupts: "I bring back gold for him when I come back from Boulder, you get gold then," he suggests.
The chief of the guards isn't convinced. "I ain't gonna be guarding this dump forever. I gotta eat - it's gold now or nothing."
At the mention of gold, the goblins in the party are starting to get interested in the conversation. They gather as near as they dare to their leader.

Nicote grumbles. "I aint gibing you my monexistnat gold and i aint letting you take any of my food, i slent too much time raiding that warehouse and stripping it clean jsut to give it to a bunch of gawkers." He hopes his orc companion gets the drift-Nicote has food, the guard wants to eat, and the guaed gerts extra cash. Win win!

Asteria nods once, "Unfortunatly yes Numbat but we'll avoid every place in the Southern Territories we can though we need to make sure we find supplies while traveling. I'd like it too if we can see Shootingstar again."
Skywhisper nods with an amused snort, following after you as you approach the centaur.

I chuckle. "I'm sure you can," I say, trying to imagine Skywhisper messing up a room and failing. "Do you take favours for payment instead of gold? We're a bit, ah, short on gold at the moment."

The gluttonous orc latches on immediately. "Food, eh?" he chuckles. "I'd got sick of broth every night. Hand over what ye have, elf. And no excuses. Give me any more of your lip and I might do somethin' Spork's gonna regret."
Spork stands awkwardly, reluctant to step in as the giant orc holds out a hand, waiting for his loot.
