@Arcane...I will admit I haven't heard of this band either. I will have to look this group up and see what they are all about. Thank you for giving me something new to try Arcane, I truly appreciate that. As for your link to a youtube not being present, how you have it set up as a sound bite on another location is more than accessible. This way we can sample and or listen to a bit of what they have going on so great idea there with that. However, when it comes to your design. I must admit not my favorite. It won't be held against you by any means, as the colors are there especially in the reference picture. What I must say though, is you did an outstanding job with what you had to work with. That particular species has all sorts of issues working against it and doesn't have a HUGE selection to choose from. Which is a shame really considering every other species but one or two others have a wide range of traits to select from. SO it truly isn't your design over all it is just a shame that your pallet so to speak was so restricted, as I know you are capable of great works. Either way, you did an awesome job this week hon. Keep up the great work!

@Dragon...Your "Tempest Tossed" design was well done, and very appealing. It follows nicely with your reference picture. The only thing I would suggest, as the traits you have chosen were a nice touch, to have incorporated maybe some of the skin tone of Carrie..Or maybe some of the white present in her dress. Reason I say this is over all your design is a bit on the darker side of things. Which don't get me wrong is perfectly ok. You don't have to change anything there. Just figured to suggest maybe trying incorporating a little of everything from your reference pictures in the future into your designs. As for you reasoning behind this album, that is ok. Some people might not have a favorite, there is nothing wrong with that. Until then though...Keep up the great work!

@Stryker...Excellent start your first attempt at a challenge with us. You used a band I am not familiar with, but do very much look forward to trying out in the near future as to seeing what they are all about. I encourage others to check out any of the other bands/groups/artists they haven't heard of either. Your submission meets all the requirements to a point. Your Faelora design is spot on with the album reference picture. I like the deep darkness of it contrasted with the lighter skeletal(sp) aspect. Very very nice there. The only thing that is holding you back with this particular challenge is there are no edits permitted as stated in the challenge post. Don't get me wrong, normally edits are allowed. Just on hardcore modes, and mandatory challenge which are rare and few between...Edits are not. I am sorry about that. I hate that your design is not eligible as it was really well done, and I hate that I have to stick by the rules set up...But I have to be fair to one and all straight across the board. I hope you can understand. There is always next week. Until then, keep up the amazing work you do!

This challenge thus far as provided us all with unique opportunities to experience new sounds of music. I thoroughly encourage everyone to give them all a try and see if you might like them. With the exception of 2 designs submitted thus far(even though it was an amazing design), below you will find the design submissions that have met all requirements. That have followed the rules, and are eligible for possible placement for this week's top 3. Please by all means check them out below, and I will update this as more designs potentially come in later on in the week. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me privately. Otherwise, if you don't see your design below it could be for number of reasons. One being that you haven't submitted a design yet, or maybe you didn't follow one of more aspects of the requirements for this said challenge just to name a couple. If you feel this is in error, please reach out to me again privately and we can discuss things. Otherwise, keep on shinning like the stars you all are!

Hey Celtic! Im sorry to say but I have to opt out because my dad got the virus and I have to take care of him with my mom. Thanks for understanding, I will do everything I can to join next week.

I would be more than happy to explain the edit that was notated.

You originally posted/submitted your design on 3/23/20 @ 11:59am. Then if you look at the bottom of your post, you were time stamped for editing your post that same day at 3:26pm. Sylestia time stamps everything. So even if you didn't change anything or simply changed the size of your design but not the design itself, you still hit the submit button which documents as an edit.

Next time hit the back button instead of hitting submit during this type of challenge so you don't risk getting tagged for an edit you didn't do. Or make sure to preview before submitting your design to begin with to make sure all kinks are worked out prior to turning in your work.

And believe me, I do understand how frustrating hardcore and mandatory challenges can be. That is why I only do them rarely. But when I do, I make specific requirements that have to be followed to the "T". And to be fair to everyone else, I have to be keep everyone to the same set of requirements and or rules per challenge. Again please understand I am normally not this strict with requirements, and do permit edits all the time. Just not with special event challenges. I hope this explains things, if it does not...Please let me know and we can discuss privately through PM.
