"There is a possibility. Blake just has a hard time believing that stuff like that is real... even though people like us are real." Matt replied rolling his eyes in Blake's direction.

"why?Didnt mom and dad have the ability?" she asked her brother

"It's not a genetic thing that's why I wasn't sure if you had it or not. If it was genetic I would have been about as careless as Blake was." he said pointing to Blake who was stretched out across the bean bag yawning.

I suddenly look right, the opposite direction from Kody. "There," I point diagonally to the front, "a lake in the forest. My favorite place to hang out and be alone. We should go there sometime."

"Swimming? Have you ever jumped off a waterfall just to see what it's like?" he asked suddenly turning to you.

I turned back, lowering my arm. "No, I've never swum in my life. I feel a sense of weakness that comes with being wet... It's inexplicable yet strong. So no, I just sit at the water's edge and let the steady lapping of the water calm me."

"That's just as good. Usually when I find a pond or lake I like to wade in the water or just quietly watch the fish from the shore... it's soothing in a way." he replied with a smile.
