It's the season of Clearsky! Travelling will be easier, as the days are warm. The weather is mainly clear and dry, with occasional showers. At night it will get cold, so don't always assume you'll be fine without shelter or warmth.
Just to let you know that I've tidied up the main page and player pages to account for those who have gone inactive. Nothing major, but you can go and have a little look if you like at where I've shuffled everything about. Let me know if I've made mistakes.
(Indeed you are right xD I had completely forgotten that Creature Kin's history is entirely composed of a little spring, and then entirely out of winter. Think I'm just going to do Clearsky/Chillsky from now on though, having to remember to cycle through 4 seasons is effort)
You have to dodge round the workers as they move back and forth, but you and your griffin manage to make it to the dwarf safely.
It takes you a couple of tries to get his attention, but eventually he turns and gives you a funny look. "What? Rob? No, Rob works further up the canal." He's about to move back to his dockworkers when realisation hits him. "Oh! Bob! Pardon me, ma'am, didn't hear you properly there."
Skywhisper makes a face as Bob gets off the crate to talk to you.
"Right, what can I do for you?" he asks, looking up at you slightly impatiently.

(Ack, I did go for telepathy before, didn't I? Let's scratch that - seems a bit complicated for my smol brain to handle)
The pair of you wait until, as predicted, a pair of guards round the ring of wagons. It's getting cold staying motionless, but the two goblins don't seem much interested in hanging around either. They head back around before ducking back into the protective formation, muttering high-pitched complaints to one another all the way.
"Now we move," Spork says, anticipation in his voice. "You take point."

"Well, we're just moving into Clearsky now," Numbat says thoughtfully. "I think we should have decent chances, so long as we make good snares and put them in the best places."
"I don't think I could manage hunting, but I can help you find places to set up the snares!" Crimson yips, her usual excitement back at having something important to help with.
The other creatures don't look so enthusiastic. Upon hearing your call for camp, they're finding places to rest already.

"Yes please," Asteria accepts her help then turning to the other familiars, "would the rest of you mind staying here and guarding the camp please?" She hoped this would allow them to get some rest and at the same time she had a decent chance of getting more food for everyone since they were running out, "Come on Numbat let's get going then."

(You- you just rick rolled me, how dare ye)
I resist the urge to make a face back at Skywhisper, because Bob is looking at me now. "Ah, Balthur sent us? We were wondering if you could help us out with something, see- we have these seeds we need to deliver, and they're kind of... very... heavy, so, uh, yeah, you get the idea?" I conclude awkwardly.

(Hahaha, I just had to xP You just got... rick-roleplayed. Okay, I'll shut up now :D )
Bob laughs. "Heavy seeds? Now I've heard it all. Course, if Balthur's sent you, I'd be more than happy to help - but what is it I can do? I've still got this dock to manage, and not a lot of time to spare."
There's a loud noise as something clatters to the ground, and the foreman turns and bellows: "Get a grip! You're not paid to drop things!"

(Hey, thanks for the ping for your roleplay. Sorry, it looks good but I don't think I have the time for it - already sending you all slow pings here in Creature Kin, though I'm trying to be a bit more active. Thanks anyway :) )
The young creatures nod tiredly.
You, Crimson and Numbat head into the surrounding mountainous terrain, off of the paths. Here, the sparse vegetation clings to the pebbly, rocky ground and thin earth. Enough for small animals to be living here.
"I'll head off in this direction, and we can meet back up at the camp when we've set our snares," Numbat says, departing on his own.
5x makeshift snares added to inventory
"Okay! What do you want me to do now?" Crimson asks, ears pricked up attentively and eyes wide.
