Unfortunately, I have not been able to reproduce this issue and with the information provided so far, I do not have enough information to really know what the issue is.
If you guys can figure out a very specific pattern of what triggers this, I may have a better chance at finding a solution Basically, what I would need, are exact steps to reproduce this with 100% accuracy. Example, if you repeat the exact same actions, you get this to trigger every time. This will allow me to trace the route specifically for that and find what's wrong.

This happens for me literally every time I start a battle. No matter who the battle is with. It happened in fest zone as well as LG. I start a battle and no matter what, the first turn never actually counts. It pings the site, but nothing happens. I've actually gotten pretty used to it at this point xD
I haven't once fought a battle since coming back that it didn't happen in.
Should also edit to say I am using google chrome, fully updated, and on windows 11.

bonkers update, first turn failed to execute and...
"You have begun a battle!
Turn 1: Vanguard Falchion is Stunned and cannot take actions!"
somehow the boss, in the non-executed turn, still managed to use wailing cry to stun my tank, rendering her immobile on the turn 1 that DID execute?? and all the other debuffs that MY pets would have inflicted ALSO got applied?
(unfortunately I didn't notice that my tank's stun turns were off until turn 3 or so, and didn't notice until looking closer at the screenshot after the fight that bleeding and leeching vines also went off, but I can say that in previous instances- eg. vs mobs with my board team- direct damage from attacks is definitely not being dealt- the damage not going off during board grinding is part of how I noticed that this weird bug was happening in the first place)
so
turn 1 fails to execute
debuffs get applied per usual??
direct damage does not get applied
> I don't think buffs get applied though? Usually how I notice it's happened with my main team is thorncoat not being applied (and thus not having a cooldown?)
I'll try my best to notice when it happens again but usually when it does happen i'm in the middle of The Grind and my brain is just 'murder murder murder' mode so i'm clicking quite fast

Some extra info. In the Lost Grove, when the first turn does not execute (happens extremely often for me) and the enemies have a tactical disadvantage debuff, a second debuff is then added onto each opponent. Can someone else confirm this? I cannot screen record.

I think the enemies counter in the barracks may be counting double for quite a lot of enemies I defeat (because of this bug) when I apply tactical debuffs to enemies.

I think I know where the issue is occurring within the code. I adjusted it and it should now properly error out when this situation happens.
However, I still don't know what exactly is causing this issue. Although, if I am correct here, I can guess at what's happening.
