If I digitally made a model then printed + painted it, would that be considered traditional or digital?
If your entry is a physical, tangible creation then it should be in the Traditional contest.
If your entry is just a drawing of some sort, whether actual digital art or on a piece of paper, then it should be in the Digital contest.

I wrote the date, rather than Easter event for the first few pictures, (my bad for skimming the post) hopefully that will still be acceptable.
It was supposed to be an Aeridini hatching out of an egg, it didnt turn out exactly as I had envisioned, but I still it think its pretty cute. It was made using air dry clay and a fake plastic egg, and then painted with ink.
Decided to add a tail and fancy up his nest a bit.
Decorated! One is a sylesti egg and the other is the egg from the Easter egg hunt!

"Miriel has picked up a strong scent to the southeast!"
You stare at your battlelog. That's odd, you think. I've never seen that message before.
Miriel paws at the ground and prances ahead. You and the rest of your party follow, expecting a trap.
She leads you into a clearing. A large, rotting stump stands where the Grove Behemoth once stood. Beside it is a large chest. You decide to open it. To your surprise, inside is not one, but four themed Sylesti eggs!
-------------------------------------
I first started by creating the eggs. I chose to create fabled eggs since they have more details (nephini, ferrikki, aeridini, and ny'vene) I made them out of foam clay, a popular cosplay material that becomes eva foam when it dries. I carved the tiny details in with an exacto knife and a sewing needle. The Ferrikki egg was by far the most difficult.
They were left to dry. Normally, foam clay and eva foam needs to be sealed, as they have microscopic pores that suck up the paint. I didn't want to risk doing that with these eggs, as I was afraid the sealer would fill in the details too much, so I just painted them as is. After they dried, they were sealed with clear nail polish to protect the paint and give them some shine.
I had this small wooden chest that I filled, held the eggs down with pins stuck into the base, and then surrounded with this mossy stuff. I added some gold glitter (that unfortunately didn't show up well on camera) with the intention of making it look like the chest also contained gold. Miriel the qitari is an old childhood toy of mine, which is why I didn't add scales to her back. I figured she looked pretty close to a Qit as it is, with her feathers. All that was left was to take the photo and pray my neighbors didn't see me! :D
All of the eggs are based on real Sylesti themed eggs! A Heart's Desire Ferrikki, Spring Peach Aeridini, Aurora Nephini, and Sunlit Garden Ny'Vene!

Dye didn't show up very well, so I glued crepe paper as well.
Then stuck a little Luff on it.
Colours show up better with the flash on.
Dye on the egg didn't show up very bright, so I painted her a little rainbow.
