I believe your friend messaged me and as it's not just them I'd like to say here in public what i told them but in a more TLDR version.

1. once a pet leaves your stables it's up to the new owner what happens.

2. It's nothing personal (i would hope! Some people are just rude)

3. This does actually help the site! By removing pets It frees up some space in the server for each pet(IIRC Its been years now but its basically a 'read-only- state" unless the pet is retrieved.)

4. It's best to just delist any pets you still find some fondness for. It would not be unusual for even 'dishwater' nephini to be bought for 100k+ (and i'm probably underestimating here.)


Again it's nothing personal and this section of the event is not meant to be malicious. It's to clear out the server of pets that are overpopulated(6trait zolnixi are everywhere for example) and some lucky people get some pocket change in the deal for pets that might never sell.


I personally am not really competing and after a certain point I'll round my totals off to the nearest 25(if possible) and call it an event. I'll be more entertained by the nurture/battle boards.

Something weird happened w/ my Leaderboard Contest reset script when I ran it. For some reason a few of the species didn't parse correctly and then I had to a manually go in and fix them. Overlooked this one.

We have added 48 new Avatar Items to the Festival Shop! The items are all for the Casual Spring set.

This actually was not intentional. "Manual" released was just meant to be that you manually released it and not that it was auto released from growing up and being kicked out of the Stables. Utilizing the Hatchery's Mass Release feature still counts as manual.

I have went ahead and updated the Mass Release feature to count towards the contests. I also retroactively awarded points to 1,647 pets that were released via this method prior to this fix.

Aw, I was really looking forward to competing on murder boards for new blue serpents lol.

Redoing things manually sounds like a big hassle.

Why isn't there a boss at the campfire on the right side of the map with the first pop-up? I didn't see anything about losing a boss this fest and normally there always is one there as well as it being on the maps that players have drawn up. Not sure if this is a glitch or intentional.

There is one less spawn point for this year's Festival and that was the one that was removed. I went ahead and removed the campfire as well so it's not as confusing. I also updated the original post accordingly.

When you find more than 21 eggs in the egg maze, every time you find an egg it continues to say "you've found 21 eggs" rather than going up to 22, 23, etc.
