Link: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=108601&page=1#7 Author: Vully Time Posted: 5/18/2024 at 9:19 AM Welcome to sylestia :) you've joined at the perfect time to have fun with the festival most things you should be able to work out by just looking around but I'm going to add to what other people have said and tell you that if when you are exploring the fest zone and the exploration log tells you that you've encounter a rare enemy then you should try to catch it if you can . the rare enemy tag shows up for themed pets which can have any genes/ mutations but have a defined color scheme with only slight variations so they look better than most wild pets. depending on the theme they can also sell for quite a lot of gold as well themed pets are marked as such on there profile pages and if you breed with another pet of the same theme you can get a 'purebred' themed which will be denoted by the name of the theme being in blue rather than purple I've set up one of my purebreds for private sale to you for 1 gold as a gift to celebrate your joining I hope you like her . she has some fairly good stats as well so ought to help you with getting through the storyline (click the image to get to her profile page)

I sent you some extra avatar items as well. As for purple pets the purple egg will hatch into a lovely purple-blue kelpari. I don't have many Qitaris but I tried to find some to match your starter. The blue egg is a Sylvorpa with some rare traits. It will look just like the parents. (By the way if you want to reply to someone, if you press the blue @ symbol it will ping them. This helps make sure they will see your reply. ^^)

Hello there! Welcome to Sylestia :D

I definitely recommend getting your pets set up for missions as soon as possible, as Rixva mentioned in their post. I found it the best way to earn gold and equipment in early game. Not sure how far you are through the storyline, but missions are found in the town barracks of each region - so in Esior's Haven in Viridian Meadows, Sanctuary of Sairelle in Umbra Forest, and Ethernia in Astryl's Vale. It's usually best to have specific pets for each type of mission as you can dedicate points & gear to increasing just 1 stat instead of all of them, and it makes for more successfully completed missions too!

The main thing for missions is to check which stat is required for it. When you open the 'More Info' screen, the top left shows all the details such as 'Required Pet Level' (the minimum level your pet must be to do that particular mission), 'Difficulty' (the higher the difficulty, the higher the minimum stat value needs to be), and 'Emphasized Statistic' (the pet with the highest value in this particular statistic will get a better completion rank).

I see you were talking about missions, and although I haven't read all responses, I would reccomend getting a cheap level 75 and maxing out their stats. I have a few extra 75s, so I've set this guy up for you! He will excel in Intelligence and Dexterity missions. You will not be able to use him on your party, though, since he is 75, but you can still use him for missions. (:
