I'm dissapointed! I had recently bought a lovely flame design who just became an adult and I did several breedings with him just this morning. I loved the flame design and now I don't have it.

Actually I didnt notice this thread yet but I did notice a new "strange" creature in the Forsaken dungeon today, that went by the name Ironfang and was like....wow what the heck is that?
Then I noticed the ping to this thread announcing the new look and had my question answered.

At first I thought maybe Sylesti have begun mutating on there own!

The design is awesome! Just one problem, though. The Skeletal Armor is cut off by some of my Vulnyx's hair on his back. Other than that I like~!

Holy wow! I never liked the Vulnyx, but now... Ugh, next breeding project, I think yes! Just went out and bought a handful of lovelies...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why wasn't there any notice... Is there any way to see them the old way? I want to at least save pictures of my adorable kitties the way they were originally created.

I mean, the new ones are... fine. Very pretty, despite the shock of their appearance. I know I'll get used to them, and probably love them just as much eventually.
But I'm really, really attached to my cats the way they were. Vulnyx has always been my favourite, but now... I don't know what to think yet.

Please, please tell me there's at least some way to view them as they were, at least for a few days.

I wish I could put this some other way because I know work went into this and I acknowledge that I'm just some player, not an artist or an admin or something, but...
I hate it!

I loved the original vulnyx for their slender, stealthy cat look. Now they look like a cross between a pug and a bear. I want a new starter at least. Vulnyxes just went from my favorite to among my least favorite. Extremely disappointed

Edit: also this makes me really sad because I love cats and their graceful awesomeness, but now we don't have that...
And like 4/6 of my pets were Vulnyxes that I really loved but now I don't think I even want them anymore... Which hurts because I really liked their colors and patterns. Wish I could change them to a different breed or something with similar patterns.

Edit #2: a SUGGESTION
I agree that some other breeds could really use better art/ a little re-styling, but perhaps in the future it could be less extreme? This change was so huge and so drastic that this should really be an entirely new breed, not a revamp.
I feel this would make the changes much less traumatic.
