Mine is something of a mesh between the Witching Hour (the hour where the veil between realms is thinner and spells are said to be at their most potent.) And a slight pun on Night Shade. (A common but potentially deadly plant, to which tomatoes, eggplants, and potatos are actually related.)

Spooky Cinnamon Ryori
I based this ryori off of my favorite sweet treat in the fall- warm, gooey, sweet, cinnamon rolls! I love to make them from scratch for my family. :) Nothing tastes better when the weather starts getting cold!
Sometimes I like to decorate, but I am not very good at that part >.<
My other favorite part of autumn is Halloween! Love to dress up. This year, I'm going for creepy, and I wanted this Ryori to match!
So there you have it- reddish orange for the cinnamon roll, white for the frosting, and a bit of spookiness for Halloween! I adore him!

Voodoo Ryori
Where I live, in Louisiana, we have many superstitions about voodoo and black magic. I thought it would be fun to take some of my Cajun culture and incorporate it into this contest. I wanted to create a ryori that could be either a witch doctor/shaman's familiar (pet) or a spirit-like representation of the witch doctor them self.

I based mine of off various leaves: The dark purpleish-red of Sugar Maples, Red Oak leaves, the Yellow and Orange of other types of trees leaves. The icy blue represents the frost.
