Ehrwnmyr is the name of a kelpie in a series of middle-grade fantasy books. I was a beta reader on the first book and one of the editors on the second book, so I borrowed the kelpie's name for one of my prize Kelpari. It's a Welsh name.

Tegan is a bit more complicated. There's also a breed of dog called an "Australian Kelpie." I was looking at pictures of some purebred Kelpies on the 'Net and noticed a girl named Tegan. When I looked up her name, I found it is also Welsh; it means something like "favorite" or "pet," and it can also mean "toy" or "small, good-looking."
