Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. ^-^
Do you have any interest in the project offspring if/when it's completed?

Ya, I think they look amazing. I myself am working on a few of my own made up theme Nixis.

I really like the twisted root wings more. I think it's a little more unexpected compared to leaf wings but they still work for what you're going for!

I might be interested in buying a completed offspring, haven't made my mind up yet!

Hm, you make a good point! I'll definitely keep that in mind!

Awesome! If you decide yes, let me know and I'll add you to the interest list~

All right! Finally got three essences together, so I now have the three starting Nixis!
As I used regular essences, the colors aren't necessarily the best--especially on the second male--so when I eventually get the 5-vis I'm aiming for, I'll probably have to get some pet dyes.

But in the meantime, here are the starting three!

G1: Regal Markings (carried)
G3: Star Runes (carried)

M1: Tri Tails (carried)
M2: Flower Vines (carried)

G3: Star Runes (carried)
M3: Twisted Root Wings (carried)

Now to wait for them to mature...

The starting three have matured, and the first egg (bred from F1 and M1) has been laid!

Ideally, it'll be a female with four carries, but I'm hoping for AT LEAST two.

I realize you already have Twisted Root Wings going. Also, you have one of the first designs I've seen that really makes Twisted Root Wings look good; I mostly don't like that trait.

However, I thought you should know that the Leaf Wings look good, too, and the design with Leaf Wings will be easier and faster to create. This is because the "lower" a trait is, the less likely it is to be passed on to an offspring.

By "lower" I mean "lower in the trait list for that slot when viewed in Advanced Search or the Generator." Consider this handsome fellow--

"LunaWing"

If you look him up in Advanced Search, you'll see that he has two different Traits at Gene Three and also at Mutation Three. There are Mystic Runes Hidden behind his Advanced Runes, and Glowlight Wings Hidden behind his Comet Moth Wings. (Please pardon me if I'm explaining stuff you already know.)

Anyhow, since he has one each of Advanced Runes and Mystic Runes, each of his offspring ought to have a 50/50 chance of inheriting either one. However, that's not actually how it works out. I don't know the percentages, but because Advanced Runes hide Mystic Runes, an offspring is somewhat more likely to inherit Advanced than Mystic. Likewise, an offspring is more likely to inherit Comet Moth than Glowlight Wings. He could father a puppy that would have Mystic Runes and Glowlight Wings, but the odds are a bit against it.

Since Leaf Wings Hide Twisted Root Wings, the Twisted Root Wings are slightly less likely to be passed on to offspring, all other things being equal.

Please ping me if this doesn't make sense, and good luck, whatever you decide.

So...the second male hatchling has all four traits--but since he's male, I can't use him.
Would anyone like him?
