I just got this one and it was 2570 scales. I also cannot wait to see what this little one will look like.

Ooh...I had no idea you could get legendaries from the scale shop...Good thing I have 10000 scales :D I think I will go *shopping*

Oh hey, I picked up this bulbori boy from the scale shop a few days ago. He cost 2480 scales. :)
He'll be dyed when he grows up!

I just grabbed this one up for 2480, it's a lupora (yay!). Might need some dye, I hope it doesn't have traits I hate. XD

So I read your post and decided to look/stalk the scale shop out of curiosity (with a small bit of hidden want). I managed to grab this egg for 2200-something scales:
