I must say: These designs are gorgeous! :o I too have always been interested in Mythology, and these designs are almost exactly how I would portray them as! :D

Personally, I love how you did Hephaestus. You designed him really well! :) The colours are so accurate. Though I think he'd look a little cooler as a Qitari or a Vulnyx (I used the same colours as your design but altered a little aha).

I think the rest are perfect the way they are, though I think you should consider altering Aphrodite a bit more. I can definitely see her as a Bulbori, though maybe it's just the genes...? I could also see her as a Puffadore or a Lunemara, perhaps. I would say to go for a Nephini but fabled species are a little slower to achieve. ^^"

Edit: I think you got Dionysus' species perfectly, just change up the genes and he should look fine! :D

I originally chose the draeyl for Hephaestus because it felt more...I don't know, fiery? And I like the contrast between him and his wife Aphrodite as a bulbori. If that makes any sense. xD But I am actually really in love with your Qitari design. It suits him well. Would it be alright if I put it up on the front page? With credit to you, of course. I want to see the two side-by-side, and maybe get some other opinions!

Yeah, Aphrodite was a little tricky. I like the idea of her as a Bulbori, but they don't really have genes that called out to me. I'm also thinking of maybe softening the pink, making it more red? I don't know. Dionysus is also giving me a bit of trouble. I'll play with it a bit :)
You're right, I was hoping to avoid fabled species, with the exception of Demeter, who really must be an aerdini xD

Also, I know it wasn't directed at me, but a solution for the genes on Aphrodite might be waiting for the Bulbori revamp and see what new traits are added to their trait pool. It might be a while.... but you can always work on others while you wait? (extra bonus: no chance of things getting messed up on your current design if things get moved around in the revamp)

Ooh, I'd love to see her when you soften the pink! I love that shade--kind of a rosy blush colour. I think you should keep the green, it gives her a nice tint (since if Aphrodite was all pink and red, it'd be a little boring hehe). Keep us posted once you figure out another colour scheme for Dionysus! I love his design as a faelora so far, it's just the genes.

Yes, there's no arguing that Demeter must be an aeri. Gives her a flourished and fresh look. :)

Well, I like all of them but I think you should put some peacock on Hera, her animal is the peacock after all. Other than that they are fine

That was actually my first thought, haha. But unfortunately, the Peacock mutation dulls her colors and covers up Ancestral Runes. Paradise tail is better, but I'd have to change color 2, and there's still a little dullness I think...


So I was hoping that the Archduke gene (what the first page shows) kind of resembled a peacock design....but clearly it's not obvious ^^;;
Anyway, thanks for your input! I'll keep tinkering and see if I can make it better. :)

Also, I toyed with Aphrodite a bit. I've come up with a slightly different design:

The green looked a little off with the softer pink, so I changed it to blue, and picked a couple different traits....but like Mika suggested I might wait a while, see what comes up in the future. The new Week of Love gene sounds really promising!
