I decided to make a hollowed egg, I did a Griffi with warm beginning-of-spring colors.
I started by hollowing two eggs, just so I had an extra!

I did some sketching and refining

I watercolored and used tape to make my Griffi!

Finally I attached the wings

Final pictures

i was in a baking mood so i made some sort of egg schaped cookies^^ with a buttercream that almost made my teeth fall out. (my teeth are sensitive for sweet they realy start to hurt, but i still like it just have to be carefull with eating :P )
the cookie's handschaped befor i put them in the oven

my buttercream

my buttercream with some color (and what i was trying to make)

and 4 of the cookies decoraded (i know it looks horibel)

but this was my first try ever (in my family we have a lot of allergies so i can't use anything milk related or egg (and no meat) and this makes baking a bit more challenging. becaus you need to either find a recepy that you can use or chance one that you normaly can't use.

(the first person that mails me the right 4 eggies i tryed to make will get a free PB Themed offspring) pls let some be capebul to see what i tryed to make!

Edit: i just wanted to say they did taist good (and no-one has bin capebul of telling me withs 4 eggies i made)

I used to be a big fan of origami so I decided to see if I could find instructions for building an egg. The ones I followed can be found here.

I started on Thursday night by making the first pieces and assembling the bottom of the egg:

Then I realized it would take too long to finish it in one day so I continued making pieces and adding them to the egg on Friday:

This is how the basic egg looks like completed:

Next I made a couple of paper flowers:

Finally I added the flowers, some shiny beads and a shoelace to make a Nephini egg.

The first pictures look far too dark because I didn't realize the flash was on, and for some reason the paper looks white or yellowish even though it is light pink. Also, I'm pretty sure my Easter Nephini egg looks more like some sort of weird Christmas pineapple, but I tried my best. :p

Okay so I apologize for the first few images I was really focused and totally forgot about the username and date..... I'm a little slow sometimes
so these don't have the date and my username,...

and I finally remembered it after I had hardened the clay....

This was my inspiration...

Wow! So many cool ideas! I haven't participated in any craft contests yet. Not really interested in doing them. But looking through this was really fun. They look amazing!

I am very limited on at-home supplies, so I decided to draw my egg :) This was my sketch:

And then I began coloring, the fun part!

Aright, so here is my egg. I'm posting the progress pics I've taken so far. I did NOT forget to put my username and the date this time, though I did goof and put the year wrong on the first pic. I will post the rest as I complete the egg.

EDIT: Done! Finished pictures added below. I cut it close but I've never worked with pipe cleaners before and my baby has been teething which means extra attention. :P

Starting on the egg...

Making a cord...

Coming together now. Whatever could I be using these pipe cleaners for...=P

It's a nephini egg! Easter colored especially for the people of Sylestia! :)

And a nephini egg isn't complete without a little nephini buddy!

And both together... (Maybe some scale issues here..)
