Good idea. Most recommend dark not light but I chose it anyway and so far it's worked for me, so find what suits you best. ( and tasks and missions are good for getting gold and equipment so it is always a plus). it's to level 60 for now, and stressing over it just sucks out the fun so take your time and just enjoy sylestia.

Well...due to my craptacular powers of observation I just realized that with the Earth Proficiency my tank uses "Bash" which is good but also causes "Taunted" which directs attacks at him which explains why, as time goes by that it keeps getting whupped.

SO..I will change my tanks proficiency to something else that still packs a punch but doesn't attract any needlessly additional and unwanted attention.

What I really need is to get enough points (eventually after the re-code is done) so my pets can get the regen attribute and heal automatically as they battle.

So now I discovered part of my problem. I want my tanks to be strong hp-wise but also help in battling without attracting needless attacks. (Whee. Powers of perception totally rule!)

I actually though you wanted taunted to keep the attacks directed at your tank and not your attackers, didn't realize you didn't know about that. Regen, isn't ability where they regenerate health(sadly) it is where you can regenerate your sylestis since revamp often chain where and what genes are available- it makes it possible to recolor them and choose your syleti's design. If you still want physical I recommend air then instead or earth or you could try other ones, just make sure to read what each type of status effect they can cause or undergo.

Well, the problem with taunted is that it knocks down my tank even faster than it can recover so I am not sure if it is worth it.

Perhaps it is better to afflict the enemies with things like burn, siphon or frostbite to slow them up a bit.
I don't know.

Maybe if you put points towards dexterity or agility? If they could get a high enough avoidance you could have a good amount of attacks miss them. Those statuses do help, but I rarely get siphon afflicte don them, of my attackers bleed is the easiest to inflict.

I actually think if someone made agility and dexterity the main thing along with earth they might have a good dodger that later on could buff their defenses...but it would detract from having high health I guess.

Yeah, that is the thing, my tank has fairly good agility, 495 to be exact which is fairly good for a tank I guess but at this point I will just have to do a tad of tweaking to see what works better.

For now I changed my tanks proficiency tree from earth to water and see how that goes; I put most of the points in health and the rest in strength because water tree doesn't have agility.

It gets pricely to keep changing but I am gonna see what happens anyways.

I need to find a allocation that lets me have a better chance at beating Vorpar. But sometimes one is so busy fighting that I forget to see what he is about to do and that is partially what got in my way.
