I'd be the happiest person on sylestia if we got rats. I use to have 2 of the cuties but once they passed away my parents wouldn't let me get more because I may or may not be going away to college. Rats are SO cute one of the mutations could be dumbo ears! (i should probably post this in the pet suggestion thread before I go on and on and on...)

OMG IKR I use to hav pet rats 2. I started with hamsters, my first was a lil russian dwarf he was the sweetest, then i got a brown bear hammy, then i got a i believe it was something like a blue spotted rat, i can't remember, she was a sweetie, but bc the animals only live so long my parents felt bad and said i should think about a cat or dog, bc so much sadness in such a short time isn't good for me. So bc a husky was out of the question i got a pretty calico kitty and named her Kisa. Speaking of which spots would be cute on lil mice/rat like sylestis, and they don't hav to look like ur classic ugly vermin from off tv shows. there's ways of making em cute.

Considering the first creature was something like a wyvern or dragon, assuming that the admins utilize a similar decision-making process for the new species, I would assume that it will be based upon a mythical creature, such as a chimera, werewolf or unicorn. This also holds with the "Fabled" category. So I think that is most likely.
Or it may be a cute, "domesticated" myconid...

It will definitely not be a Unicorn. We already have Qitari with a unicorn horn mutation XD But I do agree with you on them. It will probably be some sort of mythical creature. If so, I'm going towards Chimera lol. Or maybe a fairy/pixie like creature. Or like one of the mythical-like serpents.

I would agree with you on the unicorn point, except we got ny'vene when we already have draeyl, so I could see us getting something like a unicorn when we already have qitari. I would LOVE it if we got a serpent, though!
