I was on an iPad so I downloaded a photo editing app and copy pasted in the images. If you are on a computer, I would recommend Microsoft paint or Adobe Photoshop/illustrator.
You might want to solve it on paper first though.

you can coppy and paste the pictures by selecting them.
I tried this but it may be wrong as i did assign the candies 1-9 left to right. oh well :P

All this sounds overly complicated. I think I'll just skip it. Copying and pasting is frustrating.
Is it okay if we put different color backgrounds behind some of the puzzle pieces or will that invalidate our entry? I like to be able to differentiate between immovable ones and ones I can possibly get wrong after I get started... x3 It helps me to be able to back up steps instead of having to start completely all over if I mess something up and don't realize it right away. XD Also, is it okay if there are tally marks on/at/by the bottom candies keeping track of how many of each we have so far (9 of each at the end) or would that be frowned upon? -Or am I the only one that uses these tools? D_D;
I'd prefer if you left the background white.
However, you could easily just add a separate layer while you work and then when you go to save your final puzzle, just turn that layer off.

I recommend GIMP. It's completely free and available for all major PC operating systems.

Promptly discovering that MS Pain makes this tricky since it doesn't have transparency-
(edit copying and pasting from the images already on the board and not the ones on the bottom, which become black-background-ed in Paint, would be the logical solution now wouldn't it)

My first real sudoku! Yay!
It got a bit hard at the end, but I think the chocolates worked for me, as my brain is more visual than mathematical.
Thanks for the fun games!! :D

The sudoku I downloaded when the puzzle was first released was different than the current one(at least I think it was, unless my mind is playing tricks on me). in the middle grid, there is now a chocolate heart, there wasn't one when I downloaded.(I'm pretty sure) should I re-solve the puzzle and re-submit or what? Was it changed or something? or did I get an mess up download because I'm pretty sure I didn't accidentally move one of the immovable candies(I was being extra careful, I spent hours solving the puzzle since I'm not that great at sudoku). Or am I just going insane? Please help
